  1. My point was despite winning it was obvious to see for anyone with a brain that the issues with the club started around this time and instead of denying any issues perhaps we should have been a bit more "vulnerable" then before it got to the stage it did last year.
  2. The hell are you talking about? Goody and Pert denied there were any issues for ages. Hard to give him credit as a supporter base for being vulnerable now after he wasted our window with his head in the sand. If anyone was saying "just shut up and let wins do the talking" it was the club in 2022-23. Can almost guarantee if we didnt have the year we had last year they'd still be denying any issues.
  3. Each to their own but I think the flag ship has sailed. Particularly under Goodwin. MAYBE a new coach could revitalise this list though with a less predictable and taxing game plan and magic could happen. Worked for Collingwood.
  4. What impact will Tasmania have on trading future firsts? Id assume much harder to get anything decent back for them but not going to pretend im an expert on the AFL's expansion package.
  5. Other coaches would try to isolate Fritsch, Pickett and Trac deep inside 50 and make their direct opponents [censored] themselves. Carrying on from that, they wouldnt have such a heavy reliance on a tall forward structure every single week. Horses for courses. Only one of Oliver and Viney would be here so we can pump game time into Langford. The midfield rotation would run much deeper than just three guys and some token CBA's to others each week. Lindsay and Windsor would be in there. Gawn wouldn't be run into the turf every game. Rested on the bench.
  6. Bombing it in there wouldnt even be so bad if we had a structure and correct spacing, give guys a chance 1 on 1, but for whatever reason we always seem to have everyone gathered in the same [censored] 3 metres of space which makes it very easy for opposing backlines. Its absolute rubbish.
  7. Like Garry Lyon said on 360 last night, we are 17th for contested marks inside 50 in the past 2.5 years despite running a 3 KPF F50 with Gawn also floating down there and bombing the ball in to give plenty of contested mark opportunities. If that stat alone doesnt tell you all you need to know about how predictably dumb and easy to game plan against we are nothing will.
  8. Hes done his ACL a numerous times to be fair. I can understand why he does what he does.
  9. Im glad he landed on the correct side finally, the era has been over since the end of 2023 like you say, but King is talking out both sides of his mouth *shock horror I know*, last week after the Giants game he said we'd be good this year.
  10. I thought we were playing Damien Barrett sliding doors for a moment IF... Goody had half a brain, beelzebub THEN .... He would have solved the forward 50 issues years ago.
  11. The competition is gong one way and we have remained stagnant with an outdated game plan and list build for said outdated game plan. Its infuriating to watch. I really feel for our forwards, they get given no chance to play to their strengths coz Goody is so obsessed with repeat entries and stoppages inside 50 rather than finding multiple ways to score. Fritsch in particular has being killed by Goody.
  12. Anyone from the Giants. Bring back Craig Jennings. 🥰 Need the players enjoying themselves again, they have been working in a job they hate for the past 3 years where their flair has been killed by a coach who is too scared to give up a score.
  13. Time to dust it off and bump this bad boy. The regression year on year since the flag has been remarkable. Got his all star midfield back and we still get pumped each week in there and are just as boring as bat**** as we were in 2024. Well done Goody. So what's the excuse now? Still injuries? Still a top 4 team if we had Tholstrup, Windsor and May out there? 🤪
  14. Desperate plea to "leave us alone" , a coach who isnt under pressure doesnt do this.
  15. Genuinely shocked and pleasantly surprised by some of those tackles in the third quarter. Wasn't on my bingo card given what id seen at VFL level.
