I really like the current Saints team. Skills and composure way ahead of ours, though that’s not saying much.

I agree; while it’s frustrating to have missed finals, finishing the home and away season with a win (over Collingwood no less) would surely inject a better energy, hunger and belief into the pre-season than another consecutive straight sets exit.

I couldn’t watch the game on the night and wondering if it’s worth watching the replay — I gather it was an intense contest but not sure I can muster the enthusiasm to watch it, knowing the result…

Apart from the missed set shots, felt like there were fewer skill errors than in recent weeks and despite their limited match time this year I thought Tomlinson and Smith brought great value today and got us out of some tight spots. imagine how good we’ll be when Kosi and Fritsch regain their form and Clarry and Petty are back in.

Just saw the updated fixture and we get to play Richmond, North, the Hawks and Sydney just before finals too and even on current form you’d imagine none of those should trouble us too much.
