Ok lets look at stats. Including the Grand Final in which he kicked 2 goals one in Junk time, T.Mac has not had the impact he had early in 2021. His form so far in each of the 5 games has been average to say the least. If a squeeze for positions in the forward line was an issue in spite of his bullocking and occasional good bit of play he has disappionted. Whilst not an automatic fan of Weeds , he seems to have improved his contested possesions and has taken some good marks. The " AGE" differential is another factor at play. T. Mac is getting older, Maybe JUST MAYBE, the long term experiment of Weeds might start seeing dividends. BBB Is a quality Forward performer over many years and just had to come back. Congratulations LUKE DUNSTAN. Dont read anything into Casey Form at all, in a windswept lost outpost in the Centauri Region you just cannot equate form with class. Lets see what he has got and hope he more than makes up for a missing Viney!

If the 18 selected are locks for a game and if Dunstan is in as iterated then this bench plus Sub is viable, although I would have thought that Kossy who was brilliant last week stays, Jacko is a given, J.J Played a blinder game before last and Sparrow solid. I now think that if Dunstan is in Sparrow might revert to super medi Sub!

The key responsibility of a for a key forward is to kick goals, BBB is proven. T.Mac not performing, Weeds has 4 in one game and 1 in another 2 NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I dont care what other factors are at play in selection, the overated clearing space and bring it to the ground. You are there in the team to kick goals. NO BRAINER I would have thought.

VFL Form is a pointless form guide. BBB Is a proven 60 plus goal forward , multiple times Weeds and T Mac are not. BBB Finals series was excellent and his GF was superb! Stuff VFL Form he comes back in and I don't really care who he replaces!

Yeah, I did it for about 5 years eons ago. I loved it, the crowd getting into me, got called some really funny names, but always tried to be impartial and fair. You gotta remember I played 10 years of Amo footy and thought I had a good feel for the game. One funny incident stands out. This big lumbering center half forward who thought he was Wayne Carey keep infringing in marking contests time and again. He would mouth of , shake his fist and threaten me with all sorts of inhumane tortures at the end of the game. Anyway at three quarter time he wanders over and asked what he had to do to get a free. I said play in front son. Anyway he said I'll tell you what If you start giving me some frees I could set you up with a beaut sort after the game........... I proceeded to pay the next 5 free kicks against him but mercifully gave him a couple late coz he played in front and slotted a couple. He was my Best mate after the game and I still see him around and he tells his mates this ame story over and over again. My Umpiring career ended when this bloke decided it was a wise move to verbally abuse me and chest me coming of the ground at half time..I gave him more than he bargained for and then reported him. Not surprisingly he never fronted the Tribunal to get his 10 weeks. The league although supportive suggested that I take a break. I never went back after that!
