A win is a win. Geelong game will really show us where we’re at.
-
Awesome channel 7 commentary.

Windsor is a gun
-
Weird what happens when you also honour leads
-
Turner is a very good set shot for goal. Everything is straight lines and super simple kicking style.
-
Beautiful kick

C’mon Dees, [censored] fire up
-
Ooooooft yeah, we cannot play like this against Geelong or we’ll lose by 50 easy. We look tired or something. It’s weird. There’s no zip in the legs across the ground.
-
Genuinely asking, anyone else reckon we look slow or something? The whole team looks like we’re playing in two inches of sand? Was the same is the Brisbane game.

WHAT ARE THESE KICKS

Mmmm gonna be a scrappy night it looks

My Grandfathers cousin was Alf Baud who served in WW1. He is also Carlton’s youngest ever Premiership captain at 22. He enlisted and was deployed not long after this, got injured and was never able to play again. He was lucky enough to have been able to return and live until the age of 94. Roy ‘up there’ Cazaly said this of him: ‘Another great Carlton player was Alf Baud. He could play anywhere. The younger generation are proud to speak of the amazing balance of Haydn Bunton. I think that Baud, by comparison, would have made Bunton look ordinary. Baud would have been a football sensation had it not been for the war. That finished his career. His war injuries were severe. You would have stopped Baud one minute, or should I say you thought you had stopped him; then in a flash he was past you. He was a thinker. Every counter you met him with was in turn countered by this most elusive footballer. Baud was one of the greatest players we have produced. I don't think he ever reached his top. — Roy Cazaly, 5 June 1937‘ I think of him on Anzac Day. The older I get the more visceral sadness, anger and disgust I feel at the waste and destruction of entire generations of young people. Lest we forget.

Yeahhhhh… Not good. Not good at all.
-
Absolutely, I’ll be watching more eagles games now because of him. If he can consistently mark like that in F50 throughout his career then he’s basically a 7th forward. NIGHTMARE to play against.
-
Oh boy, just watched the Harley Reid highlights from last night… not sure I can recall in my lifetime a 19 y.o., 6 game midfielder, in a very average side, that is taking marks over packs like a veteran forward 🥶🥶🥶🥶

If it’s not us to win the flag, I want GWS to win. I never thought I’d say this, but I like them.
-
Someone in commentary said last night was only the 5th or 6th time Essendon has played the crows in Adelaide despite them being in the comp for 33 years. They were probably celebrating the fact that on average it will be another 5 years before they have to go back…

Shocking HTB decision
-
Whoah he really is
-
Right ok I see, thanks for that!
-
Oh right, I didn’t know that. Do you happen to know how that works? As in, does the afl sign off on that or is that the Giants decision? Do the giants get money to agree to it?
-
Giants not playing at their home stadium for 7 rounds in a row is madness
-
I thought the H’uns front page was apt. R’pist and a loser. Sensationalist media has a place after all.
-
Saints weren’t ‘off’ either, they’ve just been mauled.
-
This will be a laughable opinion to many, but it’s why I don’t think Ross Lion is all he’s made out to be. He took over saints after all the hard work had been done and no flag. Then leaves when they start going south. Then he inherited Freo after all the hard work had been done, no flag. Then leaves when things start going south. If he wins a flag after returning to the saints then I’ll own up to how dumb this comment is. But that’s an ‘if’ he gets them to win a flag but… That St. Kilda team in the 10,11 years especially, was filled with so much A grade talent, it’s actually absurd they didn’t win a flag. And that team was gifted to Lion just like Freo. No flags.
