  1. Not even weighing in on if it is/isn’t a good call, what’s the problem with a runner being a welfare officer? I don’t understand what the issue is and any explanation would be appreciated
  2. Not gonna lie, Darcy to kick 5 might be a bet.
  3. “He’s been an exciting player when he’s on the field” - Nathan Buckley
  4. They already have 5 points? They are scoring
  5. There’s signs there that they have good players. A lot of the kicks into their F50 were absolutely bang on and some of the field kicking was very good. Youngest team in the AFL by a bit of a margin too unless I’m mistaken.
  6. I would’ve thought that this generation would have been expected to be at least proficient/confident on both legs?
  7. Oh and push in the back… one of my pet peeves about AFL for the last 15ish years. I’ve said it before and I’ll bloody say it again, if push in the back had been applied properly during Tom Hawkins era, he would have 100+ goals less in his career. Did it every game and it was infuriating.
  8. It’s telling that we kicked so accurately when the opposition pressure plummeted from half time so much so that it became a training drill effectively. To me it shows we struggle to stay composed when the pressure is on, but it’s not fundamentally a skill based issue. Also had more shots from IN FRONT OF GOAL. Saying that, you can only play what’s in front of you and we slapped em’. Backline a bit of a worry today, Eagles punched a lot of holes in our defence. Culley grabbed his chance which is great to see!
  9. Yeah absolutely. When I’ve told friends from overseas how AFL works and how some rules are rules, but they’re not really because they aren’t paid, but sometimes they are, and this can change from week to week, they actually laugh. Kinda hard to take a game seriously when that’s the case if you aren’t used to it.
  10. It just makes the game so amateurish and frustrating.
  11. Why now are they paying push in the back????? Randomly in a nothing game this late in the season???
  12. Man Fritsch is back
  13. Goals create confidence!! Misses are deflating
  14. Anyone notice that Jai Culleys kicks to the top of the square were nicely waited? Easier to mark? Makes a big difference
  15. Accurate goal kicking! Really no pressure from west coast… saying something I think.
  16. Fritsch absolutely nailed that kick
  17. Culley playing well.
  18. Maxxxxyyyyyyy
  19. I love the AFL, 15 years of push in the back not paid and now just randomly it’s paid again, even softly. Good kick Roo!
  20. Melksham great kick!!! Jaiiiiiiiiii. Congratulations young fella
  21. Good transition goal
  22. He’ll be shot at dawn.
  23. My footy knowledge isn’t the best, but from watching the bulldogs/hawks/crows, I’m not seeing a similar style of angling through the corridor and gut running to create space? It’s just been the same kick it down the line on that one wing to a contest? Which is what we’ve been doing for years. I don’t get it. We looked different earlier in the year and I could see a difference, we were at least looking in board. That’s seems gone
  24. Have either team gone through the corridor once this quarter??
  25. Ryan should get suspended for that if May was.
