At least he owned it. But we need serious action.
Agree he owned it which was good to hear but why doesn’t he already know the ‘why’?
The references to digging deep to understand the why has me worried he n the coaching group really don’t know why …

The AFL won’t hate him being out against us. Anything to help keep the disgusting Gussy incident swept under the carpet.
Sadly agree

not that I’ve seen the incident cos I have a habit of not watching the filth ever (unless of course they’re our opposition)
Just watched the incident on replay
never cheered so loudly for a dogs player ever

But part of me wants him to play next week, we owe him a few.
Me too…I really wanted him to play next week
I say it’s a convenient absence so he doesn’t need to face us …

I think we should drop Maxy. And Trac. And might as well give Viney a spell while we’re at it.
agree but you forgot that we should probs give May and Fritsch a spell too and kozzie to whilst we’re at it

So I’ve tried to let the emotions of yesterday pass …
out: lever 😫 and BBB
in: Langdon (if he is ok to play) and JVR (if he has fully recovered from concussion)
petty to go back in place of lever and to help max in the ruck if need be (I thought some of his tap work wasn’t too bad last night)
JVR straight swap for BBB
Langdon to patrol his MCG wings again and help us out with his defensive positioning and run 😊

I wouldn't mind a thread like this being pinned. Always a handy reference when making the trip down. We have been given some good tips but haven't branched away from the CBD yet.
For the final v blues last year we lucked into a Japanese restaurant called Robata. Could see the MCG from our table and watch as the crowd going past build up. Good food, happy wife, good beer and wine, really good Sake!! Many Dees supporters in there so obviously not a secret, but excellent find to us.
Robata is excellent- been there a couple of times, never pre game though

Hello, does anyone know what time the demon shop will be open tomorrow?
thank you -

I actually think Scott has made a blunder here. Parfitt has been great for them and no O’Connor clearly means they’re not going to tag Oliver or Petracca. I wouldn’t be surprised if Rohan is the sub.
A famous cats “late change” coming up…🤷♂️

No it we've had much higher crowds...
Round 21 2000 = 76,059 ( I was there)
Round 8 1963 = 83,518
You are absolutely right - no idea where I got my numbers from 🤷♂️

Agree... the MFC band wagon is not rolling and Saturday night is not a big crowd night.
50k will give us a decent return but 70k would be so much better.
Looking like a cool but low wind and no rain evening
4 of us are making the trip down from Brisbane…that might not get us to 70k but we’re also dragging 5 others with us from Melbourne that wouldn’t ordinarily attend…and for reference our biggest ever home and away crowd against the cats is 58,208 so hopefully the nine of us push us past that 🤞

But it’s realistic.
We go with just 2 talls and Fritsch the Cats can play Henry, SDK and Kolo on them.
Got to at least put out a line up that has a chance in the air.
Fair enough - just thought disco (listed as 1cm taller than JVR!), fritta and JVR could play tallish
Laurie off the bench - petty as sub (can play forward and back)
