Given our recent gather round performances against the Bombers i can understand the doubts going into this game But let's not forget this is a bombers side on an 18-game losing streak. they are genuinely terrible and could well end up with the wooden spoon this year We have far exceeded expectations and are playing with confidence and belief. Our best can easily account for Essendon. If we produce a performance anywhere close to the Suns game, we will win convincingly The only concern i have is, notwithstanding our overall performances, we have dished up a couple of dire first quarters against Freo and Carlton. Replicate quarters like that and any team in the league could beat us. All that said, i reckon we'll put the gather round boggy to bed and win by 30-50 points

i was hoping for a 2-4 start. And given the rubbish we dished up last season and all the chnages in the offseason, a case could easily be made for 0-6 No question we are well ahead of schedule but one game at a time should be our mantra With some luck with injuries we can have a really good season

Our support has been criticised for a long time for being too quiet This season has shown we can cheer as loud as anyone when we have something to cheer about. Goodys contest and stoppage game plan was effective but it was very boring to watch. We now have reason to jump out of our seats to yell and holler. Seriously, the last 2 games have been so enjoyable to watch. Long may this continue.
