    should have scored Lampard
  3. Dubious methodology. I hate them both but no way we are more valuable than the Eagles or the Hawks.

10 out of 10 for effort and application that half. you would think the Crows superior fitness and brute strength will see them home in the second. They have been very wayward though so you never know. Hanks Hore and Bannon been very good. Gall has done well also

The pick he threw was bad but he was very good in the second half. the drive to win the game was close to perfect. Drove the length of the field and chewed up all the clock in the process. I think Dak is good enough. We need another dependable receiver along with Lamb. Dowdle was good yesterday carrying the ball. a lot of defensive injuries are a big problem but i think we have the team to make a play-off run if we can stay healthy enough. The weak link is the coach.

Tim Lamb performed fine in that interview. Tough gig given the Trac and Clarry situations but he dealt with things as well as could be expected in the circumstances. and i reckon the Dan Houston situation is as much do with the fact we ended up with pick 5 rather than a later pick. Obviously Tim Lamb can't say that in an interview so he had to try to skirt around the question.
  9. Jay Clark is getting tiresome. He can get in the bin

you'd have liked todays game so. Lots of 3rd and short plays. There was one bone crunching hit on the 1 yard line by the steelers D. Defender took flight and stopped our attacker dead in his tracks and dislodged the ball. Luckily Dak managed to recover the loose ball but that was some hit. That hit almost won the game for the Steelers.

He's a very good QB but the greats are measured by post season success. Obviously hasn't been able to get it done in play-offs but that's as much due to the powder puff cowboys mentality as anything else.

great road win for Dallas defence down to the bare bones but held up really well against an admittedly blunt steelers offence. some costly turnovers in the red zone including one dreadful pick on the 3-yard line but when the chips were down Dak drove the length of the field to take the lead with 20 seconds left. its still a tough road ahead given how decimated our defence is but wins like this can only breed confidence and belief

did he use the correct pronoun (he/him). If not then Pert needs to be burned at the stake

While Clarry was delivering on his $1m contract we were happy to babysit him and put up with his behavioural issues. now that he’s produced a season and a half of injury and underperformance we’ve decided he’s not worth it. why oh why did we give him a monster contract. Massive list mgt fail.
  16. BDA replied to Oxdee's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
I have no problem with the club trying to offload him. He fell well short of a $1m player last year and he's falling below the standards again re Brownlow night and missed appts. We have stuffed up royalty in 2 areas: The media were always going to get wind of any attempts by the club to make contact with other clubs. I don't think it was possible to keep under wraps. But i don't see how we could have thought another club would be interested or give anything like fair value given his performance last year and known behavioural issues. Once you start making the calls your on the nose for any fallout. Given his problems throughout his career I think it was foreseeable that issues would arise again. Offering this contract looks like very poor list management. This is the big mistake the club have to wear now. Cornes is right. We have handled ourselves badly in all this. I just hope Clarry can return to something like his old self.
  17. Given we down to the bare bones that was an excellent effort from the girls. Great win
  18. Chaplin have been very good again. one of our best players so far this year.
  19. started to wilt in that quarter. the momentum with the giants. hope the girls can hold out for the win

So the Cats may have Stengle, Bayley Smith and Clarry on their books by close of trade period. They must believe their culture is super strong to keep those 3 in line.

I've never met Clarry but from what i've heard others say he's a good lad. just very immature. I wish him no ill will at all. A good woman could be a stabilising influence but there doesn't appear to be one in his life at the moment unfortunately. Perhaps Geelong is a good destination for him. Get away from the temptations in Melbourne. It might help him to grow up. I'm just sad at these developments
  24. BDA replied to Oxdee's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
it depends on the extent to which the club wants to move him on and make a fresh start. if we think he's too mcuh of a disruption such that keeping him around is just not worth it then we'll have to take what we can get.

If its true he got blind at the brownlow and has missed medical appointments then hard to criticise the club for saying enough is enough. We're his employer not his family. We can't be spending so much time on one employee. At some point it becomes enabling. Some club will take him on. The cats most likely. but it will be for peanuts i'm afraid. very disappointing all round
