  1. We need a specialist crystal ball gazer to offer their skills to the football department when negotiating contracts. Make sure we offer just the right length of contract to every player. A real bonus would be if they could foresee when injuries are going to happen. We took a risk with BB. HIs knees were a potential issue, but he cost us little trade wise and was a big part of delivering a flag. I'll take that. His contract was worth it imv. Would prefer if his knees were in better shape but life isn't perfect unfortunately. To those whining [censored], would we have won a flag without him? If we had insisted on a 3-year contract and he went elsewhere, would you have been happy with that? Yes, footy is a business. We took a calculated business risk and guess what we have a flag.

Ravens 7-12. reckon their D will make more stops than the chiefs. But Mahomes is a genius, so you never know. Niners 1-6. It'll be close but 49ers to just get over the line.
  3. JVR, Petty and Fritsch will have to bear the goal scoring load this year. Any contribution we get from BB this year will be a bonus. Whatever's happens, we'll always have 2021. BB was fantastic in the finals series.
  4. Great reports. Thanks all. By the sounds of it weโ€™re certs for the flag this year.

One thing we know about the lions, they wonโ€™t die wondering. Itโ€™ll be aggressive play calling all the way. I expect itโ€™ll either be close and a tight win for either or a blowout win for the 49ers. its Jackson v Mahomes in Baltimore. As good as Jackson has been If it comes down to a back and forth between those 2 I back mahomes. going to be 2 great games. Looking forward to them.

Bills miss the FG and the chiefs win it. Mahomes is an unbelievable player. I won't be surprised if he rolls the ravens next week.

Superb Bucs drive to tie things up just before halftime. Game on.
  12. God knows where weโ€™ll finish. You could make an argument weโ€™ll win the flag or you could make an argument weโ€™ll finish outside the 8 if weโ€™re unlucky. itโ€™s probably the most uncertain Iโ€™ve felt going into the season for a few years. The Oliver issue, all the noise about culture and some of our best players getting older. Not ideal. Letโ€™s hope we can have a better run with injuries in 24.
  13. His knees are practically shot. Rucking is the last thing he should be doing.
  14. The government should claw the money back from the pies. Grant agreements usually have a clause to do so if money hasnโ€™t been spent as agreed.

game over. Great effort from the Packers. had the opportunities but couldn't convert. they be a force in years to come. 49ers found a way. This game will stand to them. They're my pick for the SB.

49er defence has come up with 2 red zone stops. Huge. and while I understand the need for TD's i would have taken the 3 points there.

Tactical aspect of the game very important. Run game crucial (for e.g Ravens run defence were a brick wall just now against Texans) You have to have a plan fit for purpose. no arguments there. but you have to heart for the battle as well. The Cowboys are feeble when it comes to ticker. as soon the game isn't going their way, they fold. It's been happening for years. And McCarthy won't change it at this stage. P.S. are you feeling confident? Rolling the powder puff cowboys is one thing, shutting down Purdy and co is another thing entirely. I can't see anything other than 49ers win here.

Jackson excellent on that TD scoring drive. He's in the groove. Houston can't get their run game going at all. Early days but looking like it will be a comfortable day for the Ravens.
