  1. If he leaves, I’ll thank him for the flag and the sacrifice, doesn’t mean I’ll treat rumours as fact now!
  2. If you’ve ‘heard it a hundred times,’ then maybe listen the first time instead of twisting rumours into facts. Don’t blame me for repeating myself when it’s the same lazy narrative being thrown around over and over.
  3. And again, where has Trac himself ever said he wants to leave? I’m sick of repeating myself too: media speculation ≠ player quotes. Until it comes from him, it’s noise, nothing more!
  4. Funny how quick some are to erase Trac’s flag heroics, must be easy living in the shadows.
  5. No leadership qualities? The bloke played through pain, carried us when others disappeared, and still finished 2nd in the B&F. That’s leadership, whether you rate him or not. Calling him a train wreck says more about the impatience of some supporters than it does about him!
  6. I get it, the rumours are exhausting, but smoke doesn’t always mean fire, especially in trade season when half the media’s job is to invent smoke. Trac’s not a kid anymore, he doesn’t need to jump every time someone makes up a story. Actions on the field tell me more than silence in the papers, and his 2nd in the B&F says he’s still giving plenty to the jumper.
  7. Yeah, #10 was huge,no one’s denying that. But pretending Trac didn’t dominate that day and hasn’t carried us plenty since is just willful blindness. You talk about shade, but all you’ve done is throw it while ignoring the facts. Convenient way to rewrite history.
  8. Drunk, sad, and taking pot-shots at the bloke who’s bled for the jumper classy. ‘Bigger than the club’ vibes? He literally carried us to a flag, while you’re sitting here in a foreign bar throwing shade. Maybe sleep it off before rewriting history
  9. If he was capable of that mindset in 2021, he’s still capable of it now. The hunger isn’t gone , it just needs the right environment and leadership to unlock it again. That’s exactly what King and the reset are here for.
  10. I get the frustration, but I think some of this gets blown up by perception more than reality. Every great player has moments of visible frustration on field, you don’t get to that level without burning hot. To say he’s not team-first ignores the games he’s dragged us over the line when others went missing. He’s already copped more than enough scrutiny, and if the club’s new leadership can reset the culture, Trac is the kind of player you want at the centre of it,not gone. I’d rather back him in than write him off on the basis of media noise
  11. Spot on. Too many are quick to forget just how much Trac (and Clarry) have already given us. Even a ‘down year’ from him still looks better than most players’ peak, and if King can get him firing again, we’re in business. I’ll back our stars over the cheap shots every time!
  12. A fact is objective information. An opinion is a personal belief. Ignorance is a lack of facts. And stupidity is a rejection of facts in favor of opinions.
  13. You had until, Melbourne are probably somewhere between those two, perhaps closer to West Coast LMFAO!
  14. Finishing 2nd in the B&F is still finishing 2nd — you don’t stumble into that by accident. Even in a rough year, he was one of the few carrying the load while injured. And respect isn’t just about contracts and dollars, it’s about recognising the sacrifices he’s already made — including nearly his life — for the club. If we start treating champions as disposable the moment the narrative turns, that’s when culture really rots.
  15. Calling a bloke who almost died wearing our jumper ‘toxic’ is cheap. Easy to sit behind a keyboard and forget he’s carried this side through games where others went missing, and finished 2nd in the B&F only a few weeks ago. If that’s ‘not backing it up,’ then half the comp should be ashamed. Trade him for pennies? That’s how you destroy culture, not save it. Respect goes both ways.
  16. Also, Mousey, Thumbs down don’t change the scoreboard, pretty easy to ignore!
  17. Better a few missed targets than not getting the ball at all 😉
  18. And, NO Smokey I for one will not spare you!!
  19. No one’s saying it’s Gallipoli, but the bloke still almost lost his life in the jumper. That deserves a bit more credit than a shrug. Doesn’t matter how it happened — ruptured internal organs and nearly bleeding out isn’t exactly a bruise and a band-aid. Downplaying it is just disrespectful.
  20. Funny how only a few of us defend a bloke who literally put his body — almost his life — on the line for this club. You’d think that kind of sacrifice would buy him more respect!
  21. I keep seeing this line about Trac being ‘open to a range of teams,’ but where has he actually said that? I’ve seen plenty of journos and trade gossip pages run with it, but not a single direct quote from Trac himself. This is how the cycle works every year — vague leaks from managers or rival clubs get spun into ‘player X wants out,’ then it snowballs until fans start treating it as fact. Until I hear it from Trac or his management on record, it’s just speculation. And given how the media works, half of this feels more like leverage than reality!
  22. I get the frustration, but silence doesn’t always equal guilt. Some players (and managers) prefer not to feed the fire, because every word just spins into five new headlines. Trac’s on holiday, maybe the smarter move is to let the club and his management handle it, not turn Insta into a press conference.
  23. Some blokes shout their love of the club, others just grind through pain and still finish 2nd in the B&F. Trac’s never been one for spin. If that’s not investment, I’m not sure what is!
