  1. Being the pessimist I am. If the trade does not get done this year, then i see Hogan will be off at the end of 2019 for little or no return for Melbourne. It seems like he wants to go home and he will eventually go home. If by Wednesday he doesn't get traded, he needs to extend his contract for minimum 2 years, keeping him till the end of 2021. That way we still have some form of a bargaining chip in terms of trading for some value. Either Hogan signs on for a minimum 2 years or he is traded for pick 5 future first round it's that simple. On a side note, Hogan may want to consider how he is going to kick goals at Freo. Count the amount of demons before you hit a Freo player, a freo player who wants to head across to Brisbane in 2019. https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_rankings?year=2018&rt=LT&st=I5
  2. Even if he were a Demon supporter, that would not sway him moving to the Dee's.
  3. Frost has played 16 games this year, does he really think he has played a blinder every game? Jack Watts & Christian Salem say hi!
  4. Sooo, anyone else excited to hear the boys sing the team song after the Saturday win? Talk about the hairs on the back of your neck standing up. It will be sung loud and it will echo through the whole MCG.
  5. absolutely missed that one (obviously). The ANB signing makes me very happy, ANB is really coming along.
  6. He is not happy playing in the magoos? Frost has made 16 senior appearances this year. and 16 last year. What a fickle person if true. Personally, I think its BS. EDIT: I am more concerned about the ANB contract, when will he sign on the dotted line?
  7. I am grateful for sticking fat over the past 10 years. There were times where I was ready to have my three turn to the Sydney Swans (wife's team) as MFC were below rock bottom.. However, I always bought my boys their MFC Memberships and hoped it would all change. AND it did and the next decade will be very fruitful and hopefully reset the clock on when MFC's last premiership was won. 1964 will be a distant memory and Jones/Viney will be the captains of the next MFC Premiership.
  8. Very Keen to see how Bugg responds to having 6 weeks to reflect on a poor and costly decision. Watts is a player I have always loved, I hope he can turn it around this week as he WILL be an important part of the team come finals, when he is on, he is just fantastic to watch. Hoping Frost destroys the back line (in a positive manner) as he also will be important next week and come finals. Looking forward to watching the game Saturday, 3rd v 4th
  9. Tanking and faking more medical reports. Sorry, could not resist.
  10. My first though was the same, he is back in after 2 weeks, wow. However, we need to trust the club Doc's and fitness staff. He may not move outside of Melbourne's inside 50 and maybe push up the wing for uncontested ball. In regards to the weather, supposedly the last drop of rain will be 11am Saturday morning, the drainage at the G should be good enough to ensure that the ground is not 'muddy'. It is Melbourne, so i'm expecting snow Sunday afternoon.
  11. Same. Overall I have been happy with Frost & O Mac's development down back this year. Could there be more to him not being selected? I'm sure his contract it up at years end, and the paranoia in me says he is off to another club. Again, this is based on noting but my paranoia.
