  1. you'd trade oliver before hogan? crazy!! oliver is a best and fairest winner, likely AA this year, and maybe top 5 in the brownlow medal. And unlike hogan he tries his guts out each week. you're one of the guys that probably wanted to keep watts. Hogan is a defensive liability And his kicking is awful. when hogan misses games melbourne often plays better. i'd be more than willing to trade hogan for the right price.
  2. def better than watts, who wasnt? nonetheless petracca's foot skills are below afl standard.
  3. not sure why people are reacting now. the season was done against port, and if not then, then definitely against the cats
  4. is he fast? no is he a good kick? no does he apply defensive pressure? no is he a good mark? he's ok but wrestles too much. i would be all up for trading him. for those that say he is a good field kick are deluded. his ball drop is hard to watch.
  5. anyone who can't kick. clayton oliver missed a vital goal. tom mcdonald also hogan missed a heap.. garlett too jones.. bloody disgraceful.
  6. lol. shush. we're not playing finals and dont deserve to
  7. i wouldve traded him earlier. poor attitude and i dont care what his set shot stats are, he is a terrible kick.
  8. you guys are laughable. the title of this thread should be "run home to 10th". since the port loss our season was done! most of you demonlanders learnt nothing from last season. and i forgot the username of the guy i had a bet with
  9. no its not. the geelong loss after the siren was just as big, as was the port and stkilda loss. all of those games cost our season
  10. couldn't sleep. thoughts of Oscar mcdonald on buddy kept me up sydney by 40
  11. disagree. He definitely didn't mean to punch him in the face. Those swinging right hands are usually targeted into the chest/top of the jumper region but gaff missed. Gaff certainly didn't look at him and punch him in the face. not sure what vision you were watching.
  12. agree on may. would make me sleep so well at night.
  13. i'd much prefer to stock up for next year and work to get dylan shiel who will be out of contract. He is a lot better than gaff. He has power and pace. Would be awesome for us.
  14. Oh gosh, its people like you that got everyone ahead of themselves last season. And people like you that never learnt the tough lessons from last season. WCE in west coast is definitely no chance. GWS will be the in form team in the comp. Sydney are beatable at the G but the dees don't instil me with any confidence (and rightly so) against good teams. We haven't beaten top 8 teams all season and now you want us to win 3 in a row? We won't be favourites in any of these games and I think 10th is where we will finish and once again, only ourselves to blame. Gawns shot against the cats, the loss against stkilda, and the after the siren loss to the cats sealed our fate.
  15. ive still got us finishing 10th. i can't see us beating sydney, wce or gws. 1 win against the gold coast and that's it. sadly, the loss to geelong ended our season
  16. When gawn was down last year pedo played 7 games at an average of 18 possessions, 5.5 marks, 18.5 hitouts when he was rucking and kicked over a goal a game. He also polled 4 brownlow votes in 2017. and Hogan is 6th, not 2nd.
  17. ...pedo was great last year..no reason he couldnt step up again. hogan squibbed many contests saturday night and dropped easy marks. call it what you will but his form doesnt justify selection. And his attitude is culture sapping.
  18. excuses excuses. he has been pathetic for a long time. i'd much prefer a pederson at the moment. A better kick for goal, good in the air and work ethic much better. he can also be that ruck/fwd that hogan can't. (tmac is no ruck/fwd either). pedo was in AA form when gawn went down last year so i think we need to find a spot for him
  19. I seriously think people like you should be banned from this site. Anyone talking about finals should eat their words. Apparently, last season wasn't a big enough example of people getting ahead of themselves. i still don't think we make finals, and that will stay that way until we actually make finals.
  20. melksham was good. i just wished he kicked that snap in the last qtr coz i knew it was gonna come down to the wire
  21. i'd drop hogan. i wouldn't even call it a rest. hogan was a disgrace last night and squibbed about 3 contests, well before any 'injury'.
  22. no excuse. he was good enough to play and he was shocking before any knocks. a very polarising player, some love him but his work ethic is poor and he is soft for a big guy. needs to lift
  23. dude, i still say that. we basically squandered a 5 goal lead in torrential rain. we were 1 coat of paint away from betts' goal going through and probably winning or drawing the game. a big relief but certainly haven't learnt.
  24. we did ok with the umps tonight. we landed on their backs a few times andit wasnt called.
  25. I'm pretty harsh on players as everyone knows but i like joel smith. sure, he lacks smarts at the moment but he will get there. he is the most athletic player on our list and i think him and frost will be fine. even though frost made me throw the remote against the wall and lose its batteries after his throw in the last few minutes. lol
