Acknowledging Col Garland - returning to Tassie
As this article explains - Colin Garland has headed back to Tas for personal reasons. I don't really care for the AFLW competition, nor have I met Colin Garland, but jeez, something in me feels rather rather sad about him leaving the football club- even though everything is always transitory. Always seemed like a lovely bloke and really insightful. Hope all goes well for him in the future, whatever that may look like.

Are you an oracle that could see what Martin was to become before Scully and Trengrove 9 years down the track?

Traveling from Gold Coast to Brisbane
Good question, Ive got some work up on the Sunny Coast the following week and am heading in on the saturday to brisvegas and staying the night... ill be hitting the German Club pre game, I do believe Darren Lockyers favourite haunt was the Pineapple...something to do with ...ahh lets not go there. I believe Hunt of the Karmichael variety attended there also. Wouldnt mind catching up with some fellow Demonlanders...

Changes vs Gold Coast
I was thinking about a comment re: Adelaide seemingly being a big match for the club. I'd imagine if the FD wants Viney 'right' from a fitness perspective - one game in to get the feel, the 2nd game has an 'anecdotal' drop off in sustainable effort, and then good to go v Adelaide. Unlike last year, I doubt very much they would risk Viney for himself and the team, this time around.

everything is in an upward trajectory, even how we finish off games. I'd argue that certain supporters wants and expectations get in the way of the reality of a team learning to be more ruthless (and keep brushing off 3 games in 12 days). By no means does being supportive of how the win was today by the other supporters or the actual team themselves, indicate that all and sundry are satisfied.

The run from here
Just looked up the remaining matches - I'm locking us in for a 10 win run from today and then a 2 losses at Geelong and Adelaide another 2 wins and then a loss in WA against the Eagles and a final round gala match v GWS at the G. Anyone else share my optimism?

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 7
Here's a great stat's page by a funny bloke (not me) - for those thinking we SHOULD win by 6 goals or more, this may put it in perspective. I personally think it'll be within 3 goals on skill - and then more than that due to mental fragility (on either side). https://plussixoneblog.com/post/round-7-afl-mens-preview/

OUR BEST 22
I do it, by not hovering my cursor over it and not pressing the button. In all seriousness, I don't think there is an automated way of doing so. The ignore person one is magnificent however.

Did you really need to pitch it like that?? Just put it on ignore if it doesnt float your boat, without being a [censored] about it.
