Stop pretending you know what Hurley's plans are, only those closest to him would know. Hibberd staying is purely in Eseendons hands???...lol...you know jack

    Lets wait and see hey..

And yes, Hibberd basically is in Essendon's hands. He wants to play for essendon but has asked for a certain deal. If Essendon don't see it as a good deal for them they can say no and no doubt another club(us) will match Hibberd's request.

  2. The only player Essendon may possibly lose to another club is Hibberd. Stanton and Howlett close to re-signing/re-committing. Pears to go to the MFB as a fireman. Watson still in limbo but obviously won't be at any other club if he does want to play on. That leaves Hurley and Hibberd. Hurley is staying. Personally I think Hibberd will stay, but that is purely in Essendon's hands. If they don't want to match the money/years he is demanding he will leave.

    I beg your pardon mate?

Let me spell it out for you in English.

I believe Melksham is a drug cheat. Once again, for clarity. I think Jake Melksham used illegal, performance enhancing drugs.

WADA, the WORLD Anti Doping Agency, brought a case to the Court or Arbitration for Sport, and they WON THE CASE, against the essedon players. That means the essedon players are C.O.N.V.I.C.T.E.D. of using performance enhancing drugs, in an effort to CHEAT, and win games while assisted by drugs. So actually, its not even for me to "believe" It's a fact. Proven by the world experts in drug offences.

That the afl and their ass licking sycophant media has been in denial the whole time, does not sway my opinion at all. This was, to essedon, a chance to cheat their way to a flag. To the afl, it was a superpower club doing its best to win, and as an aside, make the afl squillions. (Please post the K.P.I's of dill, and his lacky's)

You cannot hide your allegiance to the cheats mate, so give it up. A real Melbourne supporter would hate essedon with every atom that spins. You are a bummer supporter, of that there is no doubt.

I have never denied Essendon are drug cheats. In fact I said they were. All I am saying how funny it is when people like you would be more than happy to have Melksham and Hibberd play for our club, but as soon as news breaks that apparently Hibberd may not be coming to the dees, you act like you never wanted him and have hated hi this whole time. Not only that but you personally attacked his father. If he had have come to MFC you would have loved him and never mentioned the drugs saga again.

"Old man Hibberd, let me advise you of something, and I will do it for free. (I'm taking that post as the real guy, and not a fake)

If you are not actively pushing your son out of the club that saw him become CONVICTED of using illegal, performance enhancing drugs (The players claim it was against their knowledge), then I believe you are failing in your duty to be a take care of your son. IE:, you are a crap parent.

Or did you and your son actually know what was stuck into him, but you went along with it, because you would do whatever it takes to see your son win a flag? I Would be interested to hear your answer. Either way, you are free to keep your convicted drug cheat son at the bummers, and watch his career fade into obscurity, while you both wonder, 'what if'......"

That paragraph alone tells me exactly what you are like as a human.

L.H, I think you have hit the nail on the head.

Similar to Lynch from the Crows last year. Let your current employer think that you might be looking to transfer to the Dees, then sit tight and wait for your preferred x year contract to be lobbed into your lap.

Fair comment. I guess the only answer to it is that the players and the club still think they are actually innocent. Also funny how you aren't bagging melksham and definitely would not have bagged hibberd if he came to us. They are still drug cheats wherever they are.

  5. Would hate to see a 2017 first rounder put on the table. Personally I think he is worth somewhere between 25-35. Previous to the 12 going overseas they all trained together (plus crameri, melksham) for a good 2 or so months or so. They would all be in good knick and when showing up to preseason training there will be players in worse shape. Not playing the game for a whole season is a worry.. although I guess it isn't any different to a player doing an ACL early in the year and missing the year, eg. Libba last year.. he has played great footy this year.

  6. Fair bit of news floating around in the media about Hibberd right now. Just got told minor details about his situation. We are offering him 4 years, not sure of the money. Essendon only offering him 2 (on top of the 1 year he has left on his contract), so effectively 3. If Essendon want him, all they need to do is offer one more year, if not Hibberd should (and would be stupid not to) take our deal. Is it wise offering 4? Not sure. But if thats what it takes to get the deal over the line, and we aren't paying him overs, i'm all for it.

One of my last posts was saying that i'd been told he would re-commit to Esendon. This is still possible, due to his will to stay at Essendon with his mates. But money may sway him over our way, just like in many other cases. Let me re-iterate we will have to trade for him.

Personally its not bad news to me.

Thats fair enough. I agree.. yes would be great to get him but honestly how well would a 27 year old (in January) serve us. Too many on here read articles purely speculating and locked him in to the running half back role for 3-4 more years to come. Still plenty of water to pass under the bridge. Maybe he changes his mind, or maybe he gets offered money he can't refuse. But at this stage, I think he won't leave.

Given you are such a dyed in the wool demons fan i wonder if you might, at some point post about the MFC not the EFC

I only signed up to this forum to spread any knowledge/opinions on the Essendon 12 especially considering two major rumours involved our club. I thought people would enjoy or at lest appreciate inner sanctum info. I can easily stop posting and leave you guys in the dark.

    you would know........

Not really. I have watched a bit of Essendon over the years, but no more than any other team. I just watch footy on the weekends. I always thought he was kind of a winger/hff. Hence why I questioned whether he would come into our side as a half back.

Hibberd allows Salem, Vince and even Nate Jones this year not to play half back which makes the midfield better.

Next year Oliver, Brayshaw and Petracca will all play more minutes through there as Milkshake and hopefully Hibberd will shore up the half back line.

Melksham isn't a defender is he??

For example, the list of banned PEDs they've been injecting their team with?

This is all pretty simple. Hibberd is leaving and will most certainly be going to Melbourne. Essendon know this and are unable to stop it. So what happens next? Google Hal Hunter. EFC will make this as difficult as possible for Hibberd to walk unscathed. They will make it as public as possible in an attempt to shame him. They will make Hibberd the enemy so all EFC supporters hate him. Zaharakis doesn't fear his mate is leaving, he damn well knows it. He states there's a contract so a trade is required. Not true in the slightest and Hibberd can, and hopefully will, walk for zilch.

This strategy achieves two things. Firstly it saves face for EFC. Secondly, and more importantly, it will discourage any further players from thinking about leaving to rival clubs. The harder it appears to be, the more reluctant each player will become.

Something you said earlier regarding EFC having been punished enough. Not a chance pal. All of this goes to the one punishment that should have been handed out but wasn't. None of the banned players should ever be allowed to play for that filthy club ever again. Financial penalties, draft penalties mean nothing to a powerful club that can simply top up, or pay these players extra outside the cap as 'compensation'. The only way to prevent this from happening again is to force the 'tainted' players out of the 'tainted' club.

Fair enough.. not going to argue. Everyone has different opinions and levels of intelligence. All I will say is yes, we want Hibberd to walk for nothing, but from what I know it probably won't happen that way.

It's really not a matter of coterie members sharing information, it's more a matter that coterie members don't or at least shouldn't have information to share.

In most cases they think they are on the inside but in fact are not. A well run club would never share vital information with anyone that's not involved.

Not saying EFC are a well run club by the way.

I only have inner connections to one club which is Essendon. Their are a few coterie groups at Essendon and the more you pay the more info you receive. Coterie members are in the know to an extent.. Every single club would give info to people in their coterie group/s, just depends how much. You are right in saying that the club does not share extremely vital information. But it does share minor information like "we are chasing after this free agent" or "this player will be at our club next year". The vital info they would not share is stuff like "This is what illegal drug we took" or "This is where we document supplement distribution".

Why would Essendon Coterie members (several?) and a senior ex players share confidential information with you?

What would be the reason for that and did they ask you to keep it quiet? How would they react to you betrayal of their confidence, if they found out what they told you was relayed to posters on an opposition club's supporter board?

Anyone in the know of a footy club will not tell someone with little significance(me) the confidential details within the club. Any info I get from my sources is info that really does not bother the club that it is out there. In the hurley case, I have been led to believe he will not leave Essendon. This is not some crazy inside information that nobody should know... it will come out anyway. I don't get told anything and then told to keep it quiet, purely because what I get told is not a secret. If they found out I have relayed info to opposition supporters, surely they would not like that.

I wouldn't concern myself braysure. The responses you are getting are pretty stock standard here.

If you had of posted that your source said that Hurley is likely to come to Melbourne. you would have received a 100 likes and lauded as an oracle. Post anything to the contrary, and you'll get accused of being a troll.

    How's Simon going BTW?

Well said mo64.. very true. Doin just fine.

  15. None of what I have said is speculation or guesswork. I'm just relaying what I get told from Essendon coterie members and some bloke that is kind of tall, wears glasses, nearly played 400 games for Essendon and now works there. He isn't that important though.. he doesn't know much.

    What did they take?

    & how much?

produce some hard copies of what went on. The AFL gave them  36 hours to shred paper evidence but i am sure the odd USB Survived.

How would I know what they took, if anything. And how much they took.
