Fair enough, I just happen to have both. NBN FTTP is fantastic . it is much better than streaming via afl app at a poor quality to the TV. It costs a little more (about $160 for the year) but still a lot cheaper than Foxtel if your only interested in the footy. Another option if you don't have a smart TV is to stream via a laptop and connect to the TV via HDMI. My only issue with the VPN is Netflix has geoblocked me

True, but you can stream in HD to your smart TV if it has a web browser.
