Pannell was busted in a cafe with someone from the Cats according to Scott’s presser.
-
Bloody busted hey!! Dodgy bastards. Well Pannell umpires their game last week, will watch with interest going forward
-
Yep he did last week v Crows!!
-
Well based on that, he shouldn’t be allowed to umpire any of their games. Does anyone have any info on whether he has been?

Speaking of shinboners, I had a night on the beers with Glenn Archer a couple of years ago. Was a funny night apart from him telling me the Dees were rubbish and had no hope.
-
He was touted as a top 5 pick at one stage as a junior, we got a steal with him and he’ll develop into a beauty. He has one thing many of our players lack and that is footy smarts

Doesn't he go for North? Probably tell everyone how great the idea is. Was it DB who said we had a scattergun approach? or was it another club? If us, he was right lol

" Meanwhile, AFL umpire Troy Pannell was on hand for match simulation on Wednesday, part of the Cats' education process. "We try to get an umpire down as often as possible," Scott said. "We're in the fortunate position that Troy's been available to come down given he umpired our game last week, he's got some insights that would be fresh in his mind."

A few posters going bananas out there
-
I'll leave it with ya champ, enjoy. Go dees Melb needed experience and got Cross, Vince and Lewis. We needed a tall defender and got Lever. We need an outside mid with speed, we are targeting Gaff. We have a method, they do not.
-
And the reason is they are desperate
-
Yes mate we all understand that, but there's no method in what they're doing. A KPF one week, outside mid the next, winger the next, etc etc.
-
Good. We will see just how accountable our midfield is, see if they can defend like finals.
-
We might as well rest OMac and Frost too just to make it the full backline monty!
-
For the same result - nobody wants to go there.
-
I realise that, but that wasn't really the crux of what I was saying.
-
Sam Manure I'm going to call him from now on.
-
Takes the pressure off with Hibberd out. See how it plays out, may be just a rumour.
-
I had Taylor and Menzel. Menzel is not 100% and may be a late out if what I'm hearing could come true.
-
I'm really looking forward to this game, Cats are out of touch, ageing stars, a few sore guys and their disposal was quite poor last week v us, trying to beat the old dog and make a name for ourselves with a half decent scalp. Huge game for both teams, we can't blame injuries as much as they hurt, other clubs have the same or worse. Saturday night we see who stands up, who leads, who wants it more. Going to be a ripper, can't wait.

Polec for $700,000 https://www.sen.com.au/news/2018/07/18/north-melbournes-massive-offer-to-a-port-adelaide-midfielder/ Dusty, Kelly, Lynch, Fyfe, Sloane, Gaff and probably many more I can't remember..... There doesn't seem to be any consistency in what they're doing, just throw cash in a desperate bid to lure any big name. Good on them for trying, but it's starting to look desperate
-
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
-
Taylor and Menzel were the two I was thinking of. Both in doubt.
-
Shows the importance of winning games you should (STK) and taking your chances (Geel, Port). Disappointing but we shall see, every side in the 8 or competing are having similar injury woes, it’s quite bizarre except for Richmond
-
Haha! I’ve always been a hater of Barrett, I reckoned he’s mellowed this year and has been quite positive on Dees for a change!
