  1. Gee it's not far away now. It's a tough job selecting from a fit list. I understand Adam t is doing well. I wonder if round one is too soon for him. It's hard removing a gf player for him and anyone else for that matter. I would think Hunt is an auto in but again tough to break up a gf winning side.
  2. Well to be fair to Oliver, they should keep their fingers to themselves.
  3. I'm still waiting for Bont to be singled out for his head knock on Oliver in the Gf. It's been a while now.
  4. And Trac's increased acceleration off the mark. Seems to have added more speed to his legs.....possibly training with a fridge tied to his waist. From a standing start in the centre, he was explosive. May get caught in the long run but in that first 10 meters no chance.
  5. And the umps clamp down on their ducking.
  6. Sparrows delivery is something that I've noticed....it was top shelf. Angus b' s game gets better and better.
  7. I did enjoy the period of games every night even if I was relegated to the garage.
  8. I have to admit even after watching countless replays of the granny it still seems very surreal at times. I know others have expressed the same.......I guess it goes to show how deprived we have all been.
  9. Yep ...last year wasn't so bad. The flag is 100 % legit . Not like the year prior with cancellations....shortened games and 30 games in 30 days. I would have hate to have won it then . But I'm worried about this year as it could hamper or question the legitimacy of a back to back effort depending on what transpires. Maybe we will win next year as well and covid doesnt interrupt it in anyway.
  10. Gee glad we dodged this hairbrained idea. I wonder if there will be another merger....relocation or just plain waxing....that's AXING ( damn autocorrect)and who? I know they do their homework but I cant see gcoast growing much in the next decade (fan wise).
  11. That's good news. There were a few here who questioned his arrival at MFC. He really was showing signs of his old self last year. Here's to an uninterrupted preseason and a full year of games with some silver service delivery.
  12. Maybe it will be Bbb. Tough effort to do in today's game though.
  13. I loved how the ump raised his arms in the air signaling that lightening was interrupting play.
  14. The youngsters in JB, LJ and TS were incredible. The occasion didnt intimidate them.
  15. If dogs have all their tails in, our defence could struggle.
  16. Yep and I argue until blue that the umps got the dogs home in our loss to them with 15 more frees on a wet night. And while I am at it the umps played a part in our loss to the crows.
  17. Agreed. Apart from the shotty conditions most of these old grands couldn't handle the crowd sizes of today. It was fun its day but maybe just being older I prefer my creature comforts. And back in the day, I dont think many grounds were good to take the family. The first time I took my seven year old daughter ( quality time with dad ..just like the motor show) the highlight for her was the red rooster shop in the ground at the G.)
  18. Top post as per usual CHF. Glad to see Langdon get the praise he so richly deserves. Has dominated many games and one of the best recruits from another club for ages. My goodness things look exciting for this club and us proud supporters.
