  1. Smashing them as we did in the prelim must go close. Sorry I just read the other post that mentions this. Cant delete so I'll just add the cats have had it over us for a long time and it's great we have totally turned it around in only one season.
  2. How about PMS? Hold your horses... Proud Melbourne Supporters.
  3. Just wondering aside from kayo I know there's the afl app but I found in the past I couldn't use the afl app on my big tv. Can you use it on android TVs? I dont really want to give any of my hard earned to Murdoch.
  4. Damn....its so relaxing watching this replay at night times.
  5. Which player looked the angriest when Max marked? (Hint...yes not a defender)
  6. Has it happened anywhere I think all the Silvagnis had numero uno.
  7. I've been informed ( and quite rightly) by another poster that Bbbs main weapon was him taking grabs on the lead and then lining up for goal. That he was somewhat one dimensional as a forward. Watching many replays I think that Bbb has really changed and now become very good at contested marking. He also roved and goaled more than once. And if not marking in a pack, he has certainly taken the ball to ground and added lots of pressure.. While he did ok in his goal tally I think his real value to the team has been the go player to chf. His hands were very strong and he seemed to take over the link up role Tmac used to be. A perfect example would be the dribble kick by Trac where Bbb won the contest via free kick on the centre wing.
  8. Thanks very much DiO. Alas I did poorly but enjoyed doing it. Gee that was a ripper of a game despite the umps pinging Gus for insufficient intent which was a howler. I'm so glad that Lever didn't just go the roost which given the clock time many players would have. Cool head is Jake. The look on Hawkins face when Max marked was fantastic. He was so angry. I know score wise there have been bigger comebacks but at Kardinia park and the top spot at stake it will go down as one of our best.
  9. I've come to conclusion if if Max missed the goal in round 23we would have still won the flag. We only just snuck into being minor premiers which I dont think reveals how much better than everyone else we really were. I also think if the umps were better than the Lions would have beaten the dogs and if we played them in a granny it would have been a lot tougher. Anywho... I hope this season we really hammer a lot of teams.
  10. Marcus Bontempelli should really have been reported for his hit on Oliver around the 12 minute mark in the second. Maybe he has. I apologize if I've missed it. Clayton had his head down low going for the ball and good old Bont only had eyes for collecting him. His arm was tucked in and he went straight for the ram. Bont wasn't protecting himself or going for the ball. It was a clear premeditated hit. Lucky Oliver wasn't concussed but it could have had a big impact if he was.
  11. I'm sure every club and sundry would love to add Luke to their ranks. I thought he would take a few years to really start impacting games but he's smashed not a few this year. May he have a long and successful career AT MFC.
  12. I've always wanted a humidor. Nothing else really announces one has arrived.
  13. I think a fob watch on a chain would be more suitable to us the sophisticated and discerning supporters of the Afl. With matching pipe and slippers.
  14. Are we going to see more of Luke in the middle in 22 and if so will Max go forward or back or bench? I'm pretty sure the first is a yes but perhaps the other two depend on opponents. It's a strange thing to take the comps best ruck out of position but a great luxury to have and it shook up the dogs just in time. Given Max's prelim efforts one would be more inclined these days to " rest " him up forward.
  15. It's going to be really interesting. Dunstans a good player who has been hindered by injuries. But the gf team is a tough act to follow for sure. I think if they all hold for. It's going to be very tough for him to break in as for everybody. The upside is players will be aware of this and will hopefully do their best to get in but equally not lose their spot. I think Sparrow will go leaps and bounds and hold his spot. Viney may lose his again through injury and his issues may have been a contributing factor to Dunstans recruitment.
  16. I know we have Weid and Daw but I think that maybe a big young full forward is something we should consider. I think there has been a " Shortage" of them in the draft. Given the ages of Tmac and Bbb, looking ahead for continued success in five years time we should probably address this.
