GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
These maggots are working overtime but I still think we've got this. Bloody cheats won't prosper

I reckon we've got this. Crucial next ten.mins. Then again that handball by Fritta is just dumb footy. Kick it ffs.

Thanks. That's fair

Yea it's not a good look with zero.marks for both. Is Sparrow injured 2 touches...he must be. What happened? As ugly as we are, we are still in it. Some more intensity than last week. Hell let's be honest. There was none at all last week. Full stop.

Been an issue from round one. Pass the hat and get some tape measures.

It's not pretty. And some horrible efforts by us. But we playing with more intent at least. Duck that umpire. Sharpen our disposal even 20 % and we are a chance. That's how poor our disposal has been. Thankfully taken the cats down to our poor skill.level. Max you need to find yourself again. Not one mark on a dry night. What's going on. Your seven feet almost.

It's the handballs without even looking that kill us. Who doesn't look? Half the side at least. It's madness. Its just reflex and it's always wrong.

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Why are so many of handballs just straight to the opponents. It's as if we are looking for them.

Max having a mare.

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Great spoil Salem. Three goals missed. Doh. Smarter play needed before cats nail a major and all our work down the toilet.

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
We are definitely on now. Even Stephen at half time soon winning the ccs

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Tracca and Oliver have definitely lifted. But Max where are you mate?
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
It's picked up lately but the first quarter was atrocious. We are well and truly in it now.

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Well done Tracca. Welcome back. And accurate kicking when do desperately needed. There's hope yet.

Move Tmac fwd. Who cares. Need at least two or three more goals. It's not Fritta, Jvr or Disco. Maybe the latter but it needs to happen now. Pull your finger out Goody or I'll join in the chorus to sack you this week. Its going to be a loud one. I promise. It's now or never Simon. Don't die wondering

He's a tad better than the others. Put his body more on the line and gives his all even if it's not paying off. Chandler perhaps played his one cameo for the year and back to normal. Does Sparrow really give us anything? I'm sorry but one touch. And Jvr he's staring down the barrel of obscurity. It's so hard to .find some decent players. Kps doing ok and Langdon as usual . May best in defence. JV toiling. Bits that's about it I'm afraid.

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
I'm trying to be positive but Max, Fritta and Tracc are just cooked. Stick a fork in them all. Their done.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Spot on. Hopefully we can bring them down to our level and then it's all ours.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Yea. Good and bad. But so many unforced errors.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
We are playing better no doubt about it. But once again handballs that go anywhere and more poor disposal by foot. Slow it down Dees pick you Mark and get it to them. No more blood hospital handballs. PLEASE.

All pundits and logic predict a pretty decent pummelling for us. But I reckon with our backs against the wall we have this. By 21 points.

Back to the dark days?
Sad but very true. I mentioned it for context . It was an interesting season for the lions. Also our three losses were catastrophic compared to theirs. Thanks Vdl I'm glad you finished your moniker with the word land on the end of it, otherwise it makes a pretty bad hyphenation.

Back to the dark days?
I know but selfishly I feel a lot better.

My 3 word player analysis V Gold Coast
Agreed geriatric Dee. Sorry I've probably taken that way too far. You can spell the last word in my username with B of it makes you feel better. But JB was pretty dope on. My only detractions would be Salem and Fritta. The latter just a little because he certainly improved and got his hands on the more and increased his tackle count of only two to a lot more from his previous ones of zip. The only issue being his once very realable kicking at goal has kicked the bucket. Perhaps a sequel of Daniel Day Lewis's film of "My left foot."... to 'My inaccurate foot." But the team as a whole was atrocious. I forced myself to watch as much of the replay I could physically stomach and it looked worse It really seemed like a training.match with a team with no games under their belt v a team that had a dozen. Constant unforced skill errors , terrible accuracy by foot, endless handballs missing their targets and fumbles galore. And the main problem being this was mostly being done by our more " seasoned players". In fact many of these highly paid veterans looked more clumsy with the ball than a high school boy fiddling with his Beau's undergarments in the back of his 60 Chevy.
