But sadly to absolutely no avail. I'm hoping Disco stands tall this year instead.

Forward line questions
Just watched the Freo pre season game. Our goal kicking efforts are still atrocious. Fgs can we fix this issue Not only do we not have a potential fwd line, we still can't kick straight. Tracca really needs to improve in this area. And I don't know what's happened to Fritta. He's joined the others.

Is Milkshake up and about? He was a wildcard and in career best form before he went down in that Swans game . Is he fit and injury free? Plays taller than he actually is and brings tonnes of experience.- POSTGAME: Practice Match vs Fremantle
- Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
How old are you? 15. Ha.- Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
He's not welcome in my book. He seemed to have checked out too early on the field before leaving. Not very classy. If he wants to change clubs again, surely you would be skeptical of recruiting him.- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Fremantle

Thanks for that. Perhaps you noticed these less than enthusiastic attempts as well. It certainly would explain them. Cheers HT. Enjoy the rest of the game and do what I'm doing. Curled up in a fetal position repeating ad nauseam.....it's only a practice game. I've had to cut back on my bourbon to payo for kayo this year.- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Fremantle

Our 21 forward line was a total different kettle of, as they say, the proverbial fish. Tmac was there and while he fell away towards the end of the season in 21, he was a gun for at least the first twelve rounds. He killed it. Alongside him we saw the last great year of Bbb. While a shadow of his 3 consecutive h and a goal scorer winning self, he was a potent foil alongside Tmac and Fritta who had a great year and pickeed up the slack when Tmac dropped off. Frittata's six goal gf haul was an example of where he was at four years ago. Throw in big bad Jackson who while didn't kick a heap, took a good defender and certainly bought the ball to ground and saw the likes of Nibbler, Spargo and Kozzie at their best. Cameos by Tracc, Sparrow and Harmes didn't do any harm. We got away with it because we had more depth. While we lost Jackson through club move and Bbb through injuries we had Grundy that didn't do much but helped a little. We also had Smith and Milkshake as pinch hitters there. Last year revealed how big a problem our fwd firepower was lacking. Petty was all at sea and devoid of any confidence. Kozzie was in the middle and Tracc was out. It was really left to Jvr who has shown great promise but kind of went sideways last year and not what I expected. As a side....I'll be watching him close this year as he will be important to our success. Fritta went backwards imho. Not so much because he kicked less goals but he looked like at not a few times,l he had lost passion. Too many times I saw him jogging after a few opposing players rather than sprint. His tackle count was too low and he seemed to be doing as little as possible. A shame with Fritta because he is a freak of a talent. I get the same feeling about Kozzie at times. I love the bloke but not convinced he's as yet to give 100 % week in week out. He's young so there's still time for him to go next level to game changer status. Turner will be an interesting one and like Jvr could be the difference. I think on the balance of all things is that there is no proven certainty or confidence that this fwd line will kick 100 points on a regular basis like Sydney's. I hope I'm wrong. Maybe it's the smalls who will surprise us all but Anb is a big loss in this area. I would love the luxury of playing Tracc fwd full-time but when we are fielding Sparrow and Billings I'm not sure we can afford this. Plus if we are being honest there are some big ifs hanging over the heads of Tracc and Oliver. I know this all sounds very negative and maybe it is but there are a lot of ifs and maybes going into this season. A lot. It's like being a Dees supporter of old again.😃l l- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Fremantle
The forward line doesn't look like one to amass over a hundred points. Jvr didn't make the step up I thought he would last year. Fritta went a little backwards and Disco is still unproven. I don't want Petty anywhere near it this year. Sparrow there is a better call than him in the midfield. He's had a long time to prove himself in the centre and hasn't. Billings didn't show anywhere near enough last year. And Chin usually starts off on fire and fizzles out to an ember. So it's probably another year of depending upon our backline to win games for us. I thought Jvr may be the fwd saviour we were looking for but I'm not sure now. Who will kick the most goals for us this year? The floor is open.........- MFC Nicknames 2025
I'm expecting a big year from Caleb. Although was he injured? How's he travelling?- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Fremantle

Maysie...at least is different letters. I call Marty h the bicycle.- MFC Nicknames 2025
Well I guess footballers aren't known for their intellect so it's no surprise only a few of these names have a little thought put in. There isn't even much irony in the list included. You know the usual ones like Andre the giant for the less tall players. Just a lot of ys added on. Bill for Laurie is probably the only one with a little bit of cleverness so perhaps the boys could bring in outside counseling to provide a touch of wit. I've heard the Duke for young Windsor which shows some effort. I'm guessing Turner displayed some dancing skills out and about some evening. Id throw some out as a guide. Hanger for Jv Lotto for CS Fulcrum for JL Murray for TR Marty Hore gets off without sentence. All he gets for a name like his is a Marty? I mean fair go. Anyone got any nicknames of a mate that represent good value?- URGENT ATTENTION: New Software Will Necessitate New Login Requirement
25 Years is a great knock. Do we have an idea of some of the oldest posters . Well time since they first posted.....not their age. Thanks for helping me stay ( somewhat) sane. Can someone please implement an Academy award style awards for posts?- ACL surgery for Andy Moniz-Wakefield

I can't wait for footy. I'm sure like most here, I enjoy watching other teams but nothing beats the joy of us winning Last year was so painful. Id gotten so used to winning. I hope we can bounce back. And prior to that....losing two double chances in consecutive years was a really poor effort. We really should have won that final against Pies. Selection was really messed up. Goody dropped the ball. No way around it. The sub had played a few games and then was forced to play in a huge final. Wow... Simon Simon Simon. And not playing Grundy too was strange. But losing Milksham and then Gus was just the ultimate straw. Even then we almost won. Given the age and injuries of all our fwds...the club failed also in not recruiting a big experienced fwd. I fear it may be the case this year. I hope it's not. Years of footy doldrums for us Demon supporters had lulled me into a almost accepting failure. So to be on top for so many years made footy a whole new ballgame so to speak. Let's hope it happens again and we play finals this year. In any case it's been a long time between goals. See you all on game day.- Predicted Round 1 Team to play GWS Giants
I think Disco is underrated. He's the tallest player we have in this fwd line up. I wish the club had pick up a very big bodied player with experience as I feel our fwd line lacks firepower still.- Predicted Round 1 Team to play GWS Giants
KP suspended again is a shame. Really needs to address this element if he's going to emerge to star status. - Forward line questions
