  1. The clips were from the game when VM absolutely dominated WA, it was rare for any of the WA kids to get out on their own. He reminds me a bit of a young Farmer but without the sublime skill that Jeff had. He loves a scrap and is more than prepared to take others on, surprisingly good overhead. Can't wait to see what Bailey does with this kid.
  2. Very, very happy with picking up Jetta, I've been on his bandwagon all year, woohoo!! http://forums.demonland.com/index.php?show...mp;#entry162452

I agree, I'm also very surprised that he's come back to the club, i honestly didn't think it would happen.

Sorry to burst your bubble but before Gutnick came into power Melbourne was not financially in trouble, we had no debt at all. Now the question of the state of our finances after he (and the people that he introduced to the board) left the club was totally different. I have no problem with people idolising past presidents, just don't rewrite history in the process. Have a great day

Heard Gilchrist discuss this topic on the sports show on Sunday morning. He mentioned that Steve Waugh was presented with almost exactly the same circumstances and appealed, apparently something then happened which delayed play for about half an hour, Waugh had a chance to reconsider his decision and then changed hi smind and called for the batter to return. Apparently said batsman went on to win the game for them. Gilchrist said that he spoke with Collingwood since the game and he regretted his decision, he wished that he had half an hour to cool his emotions and think rationally about the incident. Gilchrist went on to say that some of his more experienced team mates should shoulder the responsibility because they were egging him on, they should have counselled him better.

Interesting bit of info on Charles, as a kid he was a very, very quick sprinter and his old man desperately wanted him to forget his footballing career and concentrate on athletics, as he thought he rigors of it would ruin his body. Guess he was right sadly.

I remember him and his ears, pretty sure he went to the Tiggers with Northey. Not sure if this name has been mentioned but David Schwartz was talking about Tom Cavanagh (not sure on spelling), who was Brent Crosswell's son. Schwarter said he was freakishly talented but had some serious injuries which cut short his career.
