Perhaps it's time to start handing out bans to repeat offenders. This site will be a much better place for it.

I find that hard to believe. I also find it hard to believe that Strauss would have sit back and let the whole season go through without any contact.
-
Kochie negotiated the new stadium deal, incredible that they can be in this position after everything we learned from The Docklands debacle
-
Well, that will make a lot of people happy
-
and throwing full cans of beer back into the Essendon cheer squad
-
I'd be pretty happy with Cockatoo, I think he's going to be a star
-
I have no idea what you're talking about. I just think that Frost will end up being our best tall defender and it was a good trade
-
Apart from Nathan Jones who managed to excel and improve dramatically when we were at our lowest
-
haha, I actually got it halfway through my post, I was just on a roll so I didn't edit it All good

McLean told the truth as well, $500k and a massive amount of our damage to our brand later we're still trying to recover. I think he's right, spot on for what happened at the club. I think we were a joke both on and off the ground. Absolute shambles. But two years on I'm still seeing articles like this: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-11-03/cats-pleased-with-blease Call me petty and vindictive, fair enough, your opinion. But I'm sick of disgruntled ex employees who were no good at the club coming and bagging it in the media. And I completely disagree with you about what it means and takes to have a great culture. Clubs with Hawthorn and Sydney didn't build their cultures by sitting around a campfire singing kumbaya. They got there by being tough and uncompromising. tl:dr? I'm a [censored] and I want to see the little [censored] fail
-
So, it's so bad he decides that now that he has some stability at the club he wants a ...you guessed it, different coach. FMD I've said it before, he's probably right. But ffs don't say it publicly
-
I don't wish him well because he has publicly bagged the club. My motivation for hoping that he fails at Geelong and gets delisted in 12 months is plain and simple. If that makes me petty then so be it. I am [censored] sick of seeing negative articles about us in the papers, it continues to damage our reputation and when getting sponsors is a major part of our business then it's serious. [censored] Blease, I hope he fails.
-
FFS, it happened over two years ago but it's on the papers again because of a disgruntled former employee who was unable to impress his new coach. I'm all for letting it go and moving on but the exactly reason why we're here discussing it is because of Blease's inability to do just that. Think about it.
-
No. Let me put it this way, what would you hope to get out of a pick 23? A 10 year player? I think Frost is going to become a very important player for us, I think he'll end up being our best tall defender and is definitely worth pick 23. Don't try and make stuff up to suit your own agenda, it just makes you look foolish. In other words, stop being a smart arse.
-
That may be true but it's also irrelevant to this current discussion. I don't wish him any luck at all, in fact after hearing that interview I hope he gets delisted after a year. Bagging your old club in public is just not on.
-
Because he'll be a great part of our defence for the next decade.
-
so he gives the club a whack on the way out. [censored] him. Hope he fails dismally and is delisted after 12 months of one way running. Regardless of whether he was right, you just don't say things like that publicly, it's such a small industry, if he stays in it if any fashion there's going to be a pretty high chance he'll work with someone who he just offended. He's shown himself to be an arrogant and self centred little [censored], he can gagf
-
I actually think pick 23 for Frost will end up being a great trade for us

Players like Michie are vital to a team, midfield depth is paramount and you need competition for a spot.

That AFL's administration's sole aim is to maximise attendances and ratings, at the expense of running a fair and even competition. If they achieve this then they get their massive bonuses and commissions. It's corrupt and it doesn't happen anywhere else in the world. How a competition can exist where some clubs have a higher salary cap and access to a junior academy club is also unbelievable. The Australian public have been brainwashed over a long period of time to just roll over and accept this Shiite, if the Italian administration tried this crap there would be riots in the streets. We've really turned into a pathetic society.
-
No where else in the world does the governing body cook the books like the AFL. I've seen no argument by anyone that truly justifies what the AFL does. It's an absolute disgrace
-
A system that perpetually penalises the weaker teams. It doesn't exist any where else in the worlf

That is a terrible fixture for us in terms of income. We have a home game against Collingwood. We don't have a home game against Carlton, Richmond, Essendon, Hawthorn or Geelong. I [censored] hate the AFL, and everything about it. I hate their transparent and unfair agenda to help certain clubs become successful at the expense of others. Once again we have the worst draw by a country mile, the dogs have home games against Carlton & Collingwood, saints get Carlton, Essendon, Hawthorn, Richmond and Geelong FFS, they [censored] finished last. How the [censored] are we meant to build for the future. If it wasn't for my emotional ties to the MFC I would have walked away from the sport years ago. The AFL can gagf, they are corrupt and continually influence the results to achieve their own agendas.

The BF posters who do the mocks (like Knightmare, Quigley & Snoop) are amateurs who do it as a hobby although some of them do see a lot of footy. They're a good source to find out what a certain player is like, they understand that it's an inexact science.

Demon on list of delisted players who will get another chance
Jarka replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
2. Shaun McKernan "If he got fitter he could become a very good player because they don’t get any smaller as they get older." WTF does that even mean?
