Wow what a night… wasn’t expecting that at all, I have zero voice left. It was bloody quiet in the lions cheer squad… except me of course. probably my favourite game I had gone to live… amazing!!

Getting my pre drinks in before a maxi picks me and 8 adopted dees up… getting a tad nervous now.

Pretty sure he was sooking not long ago about the GC tactics against his forward line which was analysed with behind the goal visions where there was absolutely nothing to be seen. The guy knows if we play anywhere near our best we are a 5 goal better side at any ground.

Smith could be a perfect fit for sub.

Their brand doesn’t stand up in finals, this game will be played like a final. Their midfield is way to reliant on 1 player, I can’t see them containing all of tracc, Oliver and viney. we will win by 3 goals…

I’d absolutely love to play Collingwood in a knock out final this year.

I think harmes could play sparrows role more effectively but clearly the FD sees sparrow as a lock for the 22. Nothing against sparrow I just think harmes gives us more flexibility and is more dynamic.

Why was that “a gift” for fritta, he marked it anyway… much happier about this game than the Collingwood and dogs games, blues without their stars are clearly playing as many tagging/negating roles as possible. They won’t be able to keep it up the whole game. I think we will break away and win by 40+ keeping the blues to under 50 points

Last year his numbers were very decent. Ranked above average in disposals, contested possessions and score involvements, ranked elite in clearances & average in hit outs to advantage and hit out wins. can you imagine what his numbers would look like when he is the second banana rucking against the likes of Josh Bruce and jnr SOS? compare that to LJ where is was above average in disposals and score involvements, average in contested possessions and below average in hit out wins, hit outs to advantage and clearances. No dig at LJ, he is 8 years younger and going to be a star but pound for pound output Grundy is a better player today. We have a real chance to win 3+ flags in the next 5-6 years. If we can get Grundy on the $ LJ was going to take, with little trade equity we are essentially bettering that position plus obtaining valuable assets from the LJ trade to fix our forward line…

I don’t really get posters saying no way to a 28 year old…. We are in the window now, anyone who can make us better even if it’s for only 3 years is absolutely worth a chance at another flag.
