We seem to be "that club" that forwards somehow find form against. I expect him to kick a few, but he will have a tough time doing it on Omac. Oscar has been solid.

I don't think there is a team in worse form than Essendon right now. (You could argue we have worse form, valid argument) From a wins v losses perspective, going 2-4 isn't the end of the world. However, if we cannot beat Essendon right now at their flattest, I'm not sure who we could actually beat. This is a huge game for both sides. If we drop this I'm not convinced we will beat the saints the following week.

Just give him a lock down role on someone, it's not like they are going to out run him. Maybe if he is in the middle locking down players more he can build some form and become the damaging player we need him to be.

Suprise selection for me, but I like it. We need to uncover some more players, so worth a shot. Balic is a bit stiff not to be given a crack but he won't be too far off.

Jones is not the problem. His work ethic is first class, and he gives his all each game. If the other 21 players did the same we would be flying.

Might be a tad tall/slow. I think you will get quite a bit of support around Vince and Lewis not being in the same side, both have performed well below their skillset. I still think Goodwin plays one each week, but days could be numbered for both unless both reverse form ASAP. I don't have anything to offer for best 22 other than if we drop the Essendon game, we need to start getting games into players like Baker, Fritsch, Spargo to see how they handle it. It's still early, but if we can't beat Essendon we are not going to be top 8 material, and need to access the kids on the list.

Am I the only one that feels like we don't have an AFL capable depth? Talk if bringing in player a) for player b) just doesn't fill me with confidence. With the exception of Viney and Tmac I can't see how our depth is going to swing momentum. This playing group is disgustingly low in confidence and belief, and I can't see where the next win is going to come from.

He is out of contract at seasons end and probably is a key signature going forward. He has some haters, but I think most can agree he is best 22 and he is an important signature going forward.

Geez the media is hanging it on us. Carlton, St Kilda and Brisbane must be loving us right now. I think I have read 1-2 articles a day about the team or a Dee's player since the hawthorn belting. We are under the microscope and need to start performing. I'm sick of being the joke of the competition, the boys need to respond against Richmond.

Q. Is he an automatic inclusion when he has healed? A. I'm not sure he is on this year's form. Wish him well, but the timing for him isn't great. May need to go vis Casey to get back into the squad.

Would love to see him with some more challenging tagging assignments. With that sort of distance covered he would be able to run with just about anyone in the comp. Free Vince and Jones up to be accumulators.

This might annoyed a few, but as long as we keep Track and Oliver I think we will be ok. Hogan is a gun, but if he leaves we will get a good return for him. I love Gus, and would be sad to see him go but I don't hold him in the same regard as Trac and Oliver.

You have 3 potentially elite players here. You rotate them anywhere and they will have an impact.

On talent Wagner isn't best 22.Based on current form he is. He will play until his form dip's, or someone with more talent builds stronger form and passes him. I just want to win games of footy, and right now he is helping us do that.

1. Salem building some form. Has some mongrel in him and he is a great ball user. If we are looking for that player to take a leap that will make us more dangerous, it could be Salem. 2. Hogan's return. Easy to forget that 2017 was a personal and professional horror show for Jesse. He has responded better than most could with some outstanding early season form. His work rate is Nick Riewoldt like, and we all know what kind of career Nick had. 3. Contented footy. We are a hard side to win contested footy against, and I still think we can improve. Might end up being the best contested team in the comp by the end of season.
