Spot on with the 'which state' part. In those states it is still somewhat of a novelty or fringe sport. The only reason the Kings got so much coverage all those years ago was because the Great One signed with them. In the cold climate states, especially any of the Original Six cities, it gets a lot of coverage.

I don't really have an NHL team myself, but my brothers follow the Wings and the Habs so I always want those teams to do well. Sorry, but I can't stand the Leafs. I guess it comes from media overexposure over the years.

It is because hockey is a fringe sport here. Huge in North America, especially Canada. Even the world junior hockey tournament featuring 17-19 year olds has every game shown live in Canada.

We'll see if the Jays are still playing like this after the All Star break. It's only been 21 years since they were in contention at that point of the year. Unfortunately.

Fair point after I re-read my post. However, what one would logically assume was caused by the intake of lots of alcihol was actually a result of a lack of coffee intake. I will now ensure that such a situation does not occur in future. Btw, Frog and I are most certainly not related.

No drinking before sundown during the week as the boss would frown on that (even though I'm sure Biff would encourage it amongst his employees). Was just trying to make the point that elephants appear to be much friendlier than alpacas when under the influence of illicit substances. :-)

Never even been near the Gat. Judging by your comment and knowledge of late night goings-on, you have been. What are these events to which you refer?
