I would also like to thank him for his time, he was a pleasure to watch and I will miss him running down the wing at the MCG on Queens Birthday Monday. Now I'm just hoping for the Palmer, Rance double at picks 4 & 14
-
I'll be happy at the end of the pre-season as long as Miller, Holland & Jamar are no longer on the list, yes they are all big tall KPP's, but they aren't good footballers and shouldn't be on the list. So if we could trade Miller and Jamar, for anything a donut will do, and de-list Holland I believe we have made a good start to our 2008 season
-
I hope we really try to chase Alwyn Davey (if available) and Ryan Murphy, because along with John Meesen we will have filled 3 of the 5 holes we need to fill. 1 - Tall Forward - Murphy 2 - Tall Defender 3 - Ruckman to replace White - Meesen 4 - Quick Midfielder 5 - Small Forward to help Davey - Al Davey

SIGNED HBK If he couldn't get a side with Pavlich a flag, he can't get anyone to a flag
-
Garland did play football before last year, how do I know that you ask.... Because I played in the same side as him...
-
I'm sorry, but I can't bear to watch Nathan Brown in Melbourne colours anymore, he was terrible all night, he has to realise his time is up and leave the arena NOW!!!!!!. Blokes like C Johnson, Buckley, Frawley, Dunn, Garland and Warnock should all be in front of him now
-
You'd just about have to go back as far as a young Neitz and Schwarz, when they were marking everything at CHB and CHF respectively
-
As much as I would love to see Voss coaching us next year, it won't happen. It's the Melbourne Football Club, when was the last big signing we had, because it sure has been a while. I'll take anyone as coach (barring the obvious crap ones) just so long as we move on from Danners, yes he has been a servant, but he has also been a failure in terms of premierships, so IMO we need to move on and get someone new
-
My in's and outs IN: T Johnstone, D Neitz, M Newton, M Warnock OUT: B Holland (no match up), A Yze, S Godfrey (tries hard but can't kick), either D Ward or B Pickett I think it is Godfrey's 100th and Picketts 200th this week though so you can pretty confidently say they are safe
-
He's not the only one
-
Bruce does deserve to be in that side, he is a great player and even if his skills aren't perfect, he can do everything ie: back, forward and midfield, so he could fill any hole that the Vics have. This time next year we will be seeing both Bruce and McLean's name there though so it won't be a problem
-
Like the relegation promotion idea, I think the AFL should listen to the players in regards to when it's played as it is them that play, After week 7 seems most appropriate IMO

Voss preparing for coaching & Lot to learn, Vossy
H.B.K replied to Finks's topic in Melbourne Demons
Sign him up to coach now, I say. He would bring the Brisbane and Matthews mentality and I couldn't thing of a better example of a tough and fair player and leader that some of the young players (McLean, Bate, Dunn, Petterd and Jones) could look up to. -
I'm jumping on the Michael Voss bandwagon, lets sign him up....... NOW!!
-
My team, but this is without knowing fully all the injuries (do any of us though  ) B: Whelan, Carroll, P. Johnson HB: Ward, Rivers, Bell C: Wheatley, McDonald, Bruce HF: Davey, Miller, Yze F: Green, Dunn, Garland/Newton R: White, Jones, Johnstone I: Jamar, Bate, Petterd, C. Johnson Moloney in for Wheatley if he can play Bizzell in if Rivers can't play. Must play Dunn and one of Newton or Garland Must bring i CJ Must persevere with PJ and Bate Can't keep playing with Godfrey or Brown, we just aren't going anywhere with those players IN: Rivers, Dunn, Garland/Newton, Petterd, CJ OUT: Holland (too slow for forward and backline), Brown, Godfrey, Ferguson (a given), Moloney (please let him be alright)
-
He's definitely in line for votes, considering how badly everyone else played, and i am looking forward to his development hopefully as our CHB
-
To be honest I thought PJ played well on him in the second half and if he continues that form he will easily replace Holland, who IMO is woeful
-
Just mentioned on Channel 7 that Moloney could be out for a fair time with a groin injury... Damn it injuries have cruelled us this year and it is just getting worse. We might as well tank this year because we ain't going to win the flag. At least that way we could get a new coach, possibly Voss, a new player Judd (wishful thinking) and the Number 1 pick. We need to get rid of a lot of dead wood, because we are just useless at the moment
-
Just wondering how Sandy went and more importantly Newton, Dunn and Garland, because 2 of those could be brought in this against Freo
-
Correct for it to be profit, it would have to be classed as income/revenue. Equity is money that comes from within or from the owners/shareholders
-
why the hell wasnt any of Garland, Newton or Sylvia picked is what I wanna know
-
That is wrong actually, because I played with him at under 15 and under 17 level
