  1. Very Ryan O'Keefe like, and bleeds red and blue.... Well more-so than anyone else on our list <_<
  2. 1 Watts 17 Blease, Johnston, Cornelius, Zaharakis, Hill, Swift 19 any of the above
  3. 1) Morton/Rivers, 2) Bate/Neitz, 3) Petterd/Garland, 4) White/Valenti 5) Whelan/Miller, 6) Frawley/Newton, 7) McNamara/Sylvia, 8) Carroll/Holland 9) Cheney/Wonaeamirri, 10) Yze/Maric, 11) Dunn/Wheatley, 12) Green/Bruce ps: how ironic is it that Holland and Carroll are together..
  4. My "Greatest evers" don't go back that far, being all of 20 years old.. Yze was my favourite player for a long time.. Robbo is and will continue to be a favourite.. Green, Neitz, Schwarz, Tingay, Farmer & Viney are all up there as well.. At the moment Brocky, Garland & Rivers are my favourites. But at this stage i would have to say that I still haven't got a favourite of all time
  5. I want Watts, Johnston & Robinson.. Wouldn't mind Blease, Zaharakis, Cornelius or Heyne though
  6. So what Jeff Kennett, Andrew Demetriou and Eddie have said in the past about us, hasn't been kicking us while were down?
  7. While I was correct way back then.. It is becoming obvious that not only does he go to ground very easily in a contest, but he also goes to ground when under little pressure as well..
  8. I hope they surprise me, I mean they were top 21 picks afterall. I expect nothing less than 2 gamebreakers
  9. My Team (bearing in mind that it changes all the time & I will forget players B: M Whelan, C Garland, J Frawley HB: C Johnson, S Martin, J Rivers C: B Green, B McLean, A Davey HF: C Bruce, B Miller, M Bate F: A Wonaeamirri, M Newton, C Sylvia R: P Johnson, B Moloney, N Jones I: C Morton, C Bartram, L Dunn, P Wheatley Emerg: S Buckley, R Petterd, M Jamar (who I believe are all top 22 players, but I can't fit them in) This takes into consideration that I believe McDonald, Holland, Yze & White will retire I also believe that Weetra, Carroll & Bode should get delisted. Players that miss include Valenti, Grimes & Maric (just), Bell, Robertson (who would replace Newton when fit), Cheney, Meesen, McNamara, Warnock
  10. As much as Warnock has improved this year, I would still rather give Frawley the chance next year. Warnock still has his deficiencies and we have been praising him this year even though he has had some bags kicked on him ie: Roughead still kicked 4 or 5 on him and Richo smashed him.. Besides Frawley has more strings to his bow and can be a bit more damaging going forward..
  11. My 6 C: Green, McLean, Davey R: P Johnson, Moloney, Jones Int: Wheatley, Bruce, Morton, Buckley
  12. My forward 6 HF: Sylvia, Miller, Bate F: Wonaeamirri, Newton, Robertson Davey midfield, Maric very close, Bruce probably best suited to a HFF imo as well
  13. My back 6 B: Whelan, Garland, Frawley HB: C Johnson, Martin, Rivers Int: Bartram Mids: Petterd, Buckley, Wheatley -- not considered for back 6
  14. All this saying he is a HBF'er, here I was thinking he would be better suited to a HFF or wing because he has accountability issues..
  15. Number 11 for Tasmania (previously mentioned) is Mitch Robinson and is a name we will probably be looking at for picks 18-21 Aaron Cornelius could easily slip to our priority pick as I think he has a few faults, namely he isn't big enough to play KP and is more a Brad Fisher type player. Has good hands and will be a better player than Fisher IMO, but his height and strength could be questioned.
  16. Just out of interest how does Brad Miller have Tasmanian roots??
  17. Every other fan is just a plain @ssclown, we are the only normal ones.. Right??
  18. Unfortunately i don't see him leaving the Cats at the end of the year. If he was going to go it would've been last year. He will be worth too much to try and lure anyway, so I say target someone else ie: go hard at Warnock or Thorp from Hawthorn
  19. I'm not sure that he has the range of improvement than say a Garland, Morton or even a player like Buckley has and I believe, with Bode, it's a case of what you see is what you get..
  20. This is without watching a replay.. 6 - M Bate - outstanding presented all day and gave an option that we sorely missed in the opening weeks 5 - B McLean - set us up in the first half and was a magnet 4 - A Davey - apart from his brainsnap was very very good 3 - B Green - great off half back and was very courageous on a few occasions with some good marks 2 - C Garland - a bit surprising maybe, but the only player this year to keep Buddy to less than 4 goals (it think) great job 1 - A Wonaeamirri - star.. can do everything
  21. It's a sad day for the MFC as far as I'm concerned, Neitzy is a champion, hell even a legend of the Melbourne Football Club and deserves all accolades thrown his way. The bloke has had his knockers but 2xAll Australian, B&F, Coleman Medallist, 300+games, 600+goals, 170+games as captain, all this while playing in a mildly successful team and playing 2 different positions.. Farewell to a true Champ.....
  22. If we could by any chance nab either of Warnock or Mundy I would be ecstatic, it would be a great pick up. Murphy I'm less sure of, but I would still support us picking him up. I mean a young tall forward who has 20 odd games behind him and is about to reach his prime is nothing to snort at..
  23. With the rules changing for this year, uncontracted players are now able to nominate for the national draft and don't have to solely nominate for the PSD so players now have this option..
  24. We won't make the finals for a long time IMO. We have NO KPP coming through Sandy apart from Juice and he is no certainty. Our recruiter has consistently picked the wrong players and it will mean that players like McLean, Sylvia, Jones, Bell, Buckley, Moloney, Bartram, Bate, Morton, Petterd, Grimes and Maric will never win a premiership because they have noone to kick the ball to. As far as I'm concerned we went the wrong way a while back when we would continue picking midfielders ahead of KPP in the draft and seeing as talls take longer to develop, it is silly to choose smalls first. Hawthorn went about it correctly selecting Roughead, Franklin, Boyle, Bailey, Thorp and Taylor and build a team around them with the likes of Lewis, Ladson, Birchall, Hodge and Young
  25. My bad meant to say I have 14 trades left
