I remember him as a player but did not support the Dees at the time. But from what I been told he is exactly what I respect in a player. Loyal, team player, cares about the Club and was a supporter before becoming a player. Players like this are rare and deserve the respect from all Club Supporters. He will be missed by many including non-mfc supporter. The guy was clearly a legend of the game as well as a great guy to boot. I have 1,000 times more respect for a player who loves a Club so much they will not move to a more successful Club. Great player do not have to play in grand final winning teams. As I did my research on him by watching old games in which he was a player. I too had a tear or two.

Always a sad day when we lose a club champion. But to lose one at such a young age must be devastating to his family and friends. Deepest condolences to the family. He will always be remembered and respected.

Hird is NOT defending himself in court. He is simply challenging the legality of the ASADA investigation. This after he welcomed the investigation in to Essendon so it would prove his innocence. Words can not describe what I really think about this guy.

Oh I see what the issue is and why Mr Hird is making a high court challenge. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/bombers-to-be-investigated-over-supplements-20130205-2dvya.html The ASADA and AFL investigate was to clear the Essendon FC of any wrong doing, but this did not happen. Mr Hird has said "We want to get this investigation started..." and he is now challenging the legality of the investigation which he said he supported. He recently tells us he has lodged an appeal to support the players but the player tried to talk him out of such action. It would appear truth is not his strong point. IMO it all about trying to save his reputation and delay the investigation. The sad thing is that. even if he wins his case the ASADA/AFL investigation will simple start again. My view is the AFL should make a very strong stand against any Club found to have a illegal drugs program.

To be honest every time I see his picture or hear him speak I feel ill. I can not stand the guy and what he now represents, Hopefully today is a good day for Aussie Rule Football and sport in general.

So the MFC went from 8.5 wins in the season before he coached to a 4 win team (3 wins to the expansion teams), It my understanding that his behaviour towards the MFC team in one particular game is now used as a teaching aid on how not to behave towards AFL teams. No coach can succeed without the full support of their team. Unfortunately Neeld did not understand this most basic of coaching fundamentals which made him a terrible senior coach. .

I have heard Clark hates us so much that he will play for any other Club besides Melbourne. I finally have an outstanding candidate for the DH of the year award, But then again what else can you expect from an ex East Fremantle player!
