A number of people have mentioned in posts that Bate has grown to 194cm, which if true is fantastic news.

Where is this information coming from?

All the websites i have searched still have him at 192cm.

Has there been anything officially published that i have missed that has said he has grown to 194cm?

    It's funny. I went to a Sandy pre-season game this year which he attended. He stood next to me at the huddle, and he seemed shorter than me somehow. He was barefoot, but it wasn't like I was wearing Cuban heels or anything... I'm only 183cm... I'm CERTAIN it was just my perception of him, and the fact that he stoops a little. But what's weird is when I met Neita I felt like he was a clear foot taller than me.

    Dan, stance can do that - I'm six two but constantly stoop. Once I stand up and straighten up, friends, workmates and relatives - who've known me for years - comment on my height. It's not like it should be a surprise!
