Aaron Davey interview MFC website

Just had a look at video interview with Flash. Take a look HERE!

Some points of interest to me:-

  1. Aaron has had scrape out on right knee which is why not in full training (with Clint Bartram in first session). He's another month away.

  2. Interview by Juice Newton under the heading "Melbournefc TV"!!! Perhaps another of the features discarded by the Harris regime to return (of course would be a disaster with Chinese supporters if was still Dee TV!)

  3. The new logo for 2007 on his training top and cap. Notes to MFC Admin and Board - (a) the "MELBOURNEfc" is not distinguishable on either place and (B) MFC is the RED & the BLUE and not red, white and blue (WBC colours!) Note the logo on shirt has white border. Personally I am totally underwhelmed by the look.
Aaron as usual handled himself pretty well although not helped by some ordinary questions (its a long time until March!)

The new logo would blend in to the shirt and so has to have some kind of boarder around it...i think it is a good move by the club and we should be embracing our heritage and our future and not our nickname...anyway, this argument has been dealt with on lots of other threads....it terms of the interview, he could have asked better questions, aaron spoke well...i agree with you on that. looking forward to hopefully seeing some sampi magic

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.
