its the toughest time of the year

Featured Replies

This is the toughest time of the year for all or us AFL fans, especially for MFC coming off such a disappointing year in 07!!

No wonder DB has said he cant wait for pre season to start!!

As evident in the threads - we are in a dead spot with virtually nothing happening & as a result various minor rumors and odd topics get a run. Players still away and dust on trade period has settled. Time to hold our breaths BUT is very frustrating as we all want and need to see how the new footy department is going to take the team forward. I hate this time as is a long time to Feb before we can get a glimpse of how 2008 will be. (remember only too well 1st NAB cub game this year against sqwarks and the diabolical effort at run and carry!!!).

Will be more stressful this year as no doubt the start of serious marketing of 15Oth year will be imminent.

Looking fwd to MFC putting its best foot fwd in this very important year coming Up..GO DEES!!

Helps those of us who are currently living in university libraries, to not procrastinate.... I mean.... <_<

Pre-season starts in only a few days, and then hopefully we'll be getting interesting reports about how DB is putting our players through a military-style pre-season and how players are throwing up after every session :D
