I should be hurting more than I am

Which tells me the AFL drafting system is a joke.

I would never hope for Melbourne to lose, but I almost conceded that tonight was the perfect result for us.

We showed a bit second half, but lost by less than 2 goals.

We injured more of our backline so another win is out of the equation.

Richmond and Carlton are both more than half chances to win a couple more before the end of the year.

I'd love pick 1 and Kruezer.

AFL - fix your damned system, and make a loss to Collingwood hurt as much as it should.

We won't finish last but Carlton have a serious fight on their hands if they think we will hand them first pick in the last round.

Back Essendon tomorrow at the $1.67 on betfair. I absolutely double dare Carlton to throw away top pick and a priority pick and will be happy to pay good money to see them do it via a lumpy bet tomorrow. Just look at what they did a few weeks ago when they were in danger of winning - take Fev off in the last three minutes? Give me a break. Easy money here and happy to be proven wrong.

I read an article in the paper along the same lines. I can't remember who it was, but I think it was a Carlton supporter talking about the upcoming Essendon clash.
