Ex Demons Currently Running Around

Featured Replies

There seems to be a lot of current ex-dees running around at the moment all getting games. Obviously left Melbourne for a variety of reasons. I’m actually happy to see them doing well and always keep a lookout when watching the other teams play.

Hogan - GWS - took a long while to settle down and produce the goods at his third club. Pity we didn’t get him third up instead of really early.

Bedford - GWS - struggled to get a look in with us, but is consistent with GWS, not sure if he’s been squeezed out or injured ‘cos he didn’t play yesterday.

Oliver - GWS - I suspect he will perform pretty much like he did with us recently, time will tell. Good luck to him.

Petracca - Suns - had a great first game, the fresh start may suit him! Not going to comment on the whys and what coulda beens!

McDonald (Oscar) - Dockers - still looks clumsy with the ball, getting games though. I feel like another new guy or someone off an injury would push him out of the side. Did ok on Shannon Neale and Cameron. Good on him though.

Baker - Bulldogs - seems to be holding down his spot, has alway tried hard with what he has, will never be a star. Like the other Oscar, feel like another new guy or someone off an injury would push him out of the side. Im really happy to see him getting games. 50 games yesterday.

Jordan - Swans - had a good first year, seems to have dropped back a bit. Wonder if he’d still struggle to get games with the Dees. Maybe 5 on the bench would help that.

Wagner - Dockers - getting games and looks ok. Not setting the Dockers on fire. Never able to perform and hold a spot with us.

Jackson - Dockers - does what Jackson does! Any team would be glad to have him, shame it’s not us.

McVee - Dockers - sorry to see him go, first game with new club, didn’t hear his name called much. He is class and will settle in there!

Grundy - Swans - wasn’t a fit for Melbourne as discussed to a great degree in these forums, looks like a #1 ruck at Swannies.

Neal-Bullen - Crows, didn’t play yesterday, had a good season last year and is finishing off his career nicely. Gave us great service.

Howe - Filth - been gone so long I barely remember him in red and blue. Has been a strong contributor for a long time. Hard to forgive my player going from Dees to Pies though!

Spargo - Roos - injured at the mo so we haven’t seen him in his new colours, happy to see him do well though, would be in and out of our side, so interesting watch on how he goes at North.

Harmer- Bulldogs - I know he just pulled the pin on his career, did ok for the couple? Of seasons with the doggies. Made the best of his talents.

Did I miss anyone??
