Thanks so much for your best wishes PKaL!! It’s maybe a bit odd, but I’ve never really considered myself to be courageous (or any of those other superlatives), as I just go about my life as best I can and whenever I reflect on my condition, I usually consider how lucky I’ve been compared to so many others… it’s my inner pragmatist 😉

I think this break I’m on for the next couple of months, is a great outcome, and if it gets extended like it did early last year, then break out the party favours!! 😉

Again, thanks for your kind words.

Mate.....courage comes in many forms. My wife had serious breast cancer and didn't say boo to anyone about it. She was in intensive care three times because the chemo almost killed her. She had to stop taking it after only three goes.

That was 16 years ago and she still never mentions it.

Your attitude doesn't seem too dissimilar while staring down this disease.

That Hardtack, like my wife is the personification of courage, fortitude and stoicism. Trust me mate.....your braver than most, even if you don't see it yourself.

Please post any YouTube links of your gigs/ music.

It's a great gift to have and I imagine, that is great for one's mental health.

All I can play is a mean set of spoons and sometimes the fool.

Look after yourself.

Despite us not playing, try and enjoy the finals anyway. Maybe pick an underdog like Freo.

Or simply rejoice in seeing the crows and pies get knocked out.

The latter for me, helps ease our poor season and I long for the day Maynard gets some payback. But I'm not vindictive. A few broken limbs will suffice. All from football acts of course.
