The big one upstairs is getting a serious band together this year.

The influence Prince had on  the music scene and on so many artists cannot be properly articulated. He was prolific in his output  - 39 studio albums.

But live on stage - he was just mind blowing. I saw him again in February on his microphone and piano tour. I thought it would be lay back and cruisey considering it was only him and a piano but I was mistaken. He lifted the roof off the State Theater and had everyone up and dancing from the get go ( no...I can't dance but I sort of awkwardly gyrated). 

He will be sadly missed but his music will live on.
