As a public service to Demonlanders we reprise this article from the Herald Sun by Adrian Ballantine [4 March 2011]:

I HAVEN'T SPOKEN TO GWS: MELBOURNE STAR TOM SCULLY by Adrian Ballantine 4 March 2011

MELBOURNE young gun Tom Scully says Greater Western Sydney has not approached him or his management and that he wants to remain a Melbourne player.

... he rejected claims he had been offered $5 million over five years to join Greater Western Sydney

He said GWS had not made contact with him, his management or his family.

"No, there's been no approach, absolutely not," Scully said.

"Definitely haven't spoken to GWS and definitely haven't signed something."

..."If I did have an approach the club (Melbourne) would be the first to know."

Scully, the No.1 draft pick in 2009, said he wanted to be a one-club player and saw the Demons in his future.

"I feel that I should come out and say something and this is my stance," he said.

"I love the club, I love all my teammates and I just want to be a part of the future at the footy club."

Addendum: Tom Scully may stay with Melbourne, says manager Alastair Lynch
