What stood out to me today is the sheer lack of importance goal kicking has become in the training of modern football players. I'm not here to blame players about todays game because both sides had chances to win today.

Can we this week please please PLEASE!!! get our players to have at least 250 shots on goal this week and let sports science take a back seat for a least 2 hours this week.

I'd write more but just too frustrated right now.

    A point highlighted all far too often by every commentator on every team.

    Trouble is that clubs won't for fear of over stressing the quads and therefore causing leg muscle strains given the high intensity, quick rotation game that is played nowadays.

    I agree with you but unfortunately don't think we will see a change any time soon.
