MFC vs Fast Break

Featured Replies

It's evident that Melbourne plays well vs teams like the Bummers, Footscray that try to move the ball very quickly.

I think it doesn't allow our forward line to get to far up the ground and hence we have targets moving up the ground to kick to.

I'm not saying we should have a 6 man forward line in all games, but it'd be nice to see Bate, Watts, Jurrah be targets running to the ball rather than try to run onto the ball facing goal.

On this, Jack Watts' greatest strength may be his judgement of balls in the air. Why is Jack running off CHF at centre bounces (he also sits about half a kick off most bounces around the ground). Would love to see Watts fly under a Beamer clearance at some point this season in and a round the CHF/FF Carey position.
