Im a big NBA supporter as well as a dees supporter and it is painfully obvious how successful clubs in the NBA stay successful, and many weaker sides have never in their history mounted even a playoff run due to the lottery system (and free agency of course). If the lottery system and PP system were introduced in the NBA, sure there would be tanking gallor, but the weaker sides would be then be given a chance.

Sides like new orleans, clippers and seatle (among others) cannot remove themselves from being the dregs of the NBA because no priority pick system is in place.

Theres a reason for the priority system.
