Milne - everytime I see him play I hope the opposition pound his face into the ground!

You have missed one:
Travis Johnstone - Melbourne Owns Him

I have to stop using the wrong hole
There you go; and its time I put my bum behind me.

Gawn...but not forgotten. (someone had to say it).
I always think of a Monty Python skit when I read or hear this guys name.....

Training today (Friday) was a buzz. Jimmy was out In the middle of the Junction Oval with Bails keeping a close eye on the boys. The talk was loud and the intensity was high. Looking forward to tomorrow. I noticed Jack Watts did the hole session today. Grimes, Rivers, Tapscott, Morton were all watching from the sidelines.
I just had my hemmies operated on (would not wish it on anyone!!) - does that mean I have done a hole session too??

Well If not picked up by any clubs those names will still be there next year in the national draft in whcih Gold Coast have all the pickings - if good enough they stand a better chance than previous years past overs in getting a second (or third look).
-
I get the feeling Jack Watts will be a similar athlete and in much the same way win the respect and adulation of other supporters. They both have that humbleness and boy next door looks.
Without cracking the sooks though I hope...

Not sure if this is considered a positive personality trait in the Western suburbs!
Doug Hawkins would be a much better chance at communicating with the locals.
Excuse me, I live in the Western Suburbs of Sydney and I can assure you I am a good measure more articulate than a good many of the other posters on this site and I think I can safely assume a high proportion of them are Melbourned based. There are portions of Western Suburbs that could be construed as under educated, just like in Melbourne. So perhaps you could be a tad more discerning in your use of the broad brush.

BUCKLEY, Simon - Delisted
MCLEAN, Brock traded to Carlton for pick 11
ROBERTSON, Russell - Retired (Maybe)
WHEATLEY, Paul - Retired
WHELAN, Matthew - Retired
VALENTI, Shane ® - Delisted
ZOMER, Trent ® - Not Retained (apparently)
Bartram, Cheney and McNamara are still uncontracted as far as I know.
I was under the impression that we cannot delist further after 31 Oct??

Just saw this from Nathan Jones on Twitter.
"Solid running session @ dendy park ... Youngster James Strauss was impressive this morning ... The kid is fit!!"
Very good to hear about one of our young guys.
From old man Jones.... 'youngster James Strauss....'

Liked the bit where he said he was dirty about the news article saying he was contemplating leavind the Dees - presumedly it was never his intention.
-
At least with the so called shallow drafts coming up they still have some chance of proving they can cut it and get picked up again by performing in other competitions?? WAFL? SANFL? VFL? Some chance I said - not a great chance!!
-
It's all good.... My comment was directed at MC Jurrah
I care about you all.... no I don't care about Drum, but I care that he was traded or threaded

Ha Ha! Suck my not hairy balls! Carlsank Carltank!
You shave then?
-
Trapper 2 goals after snap to keep lions in touch.
Was happy to see him in the finals and playing a good game.
Previous week Cometti (I think) described him as lookin like he just jumped up from under a pile of newspapers on a park bench.....
-
So does anyone think he'll get picked up? Maybe a fit for Swans with Micky O going and Hall gone?
-
I would've though the AFL would absolutely everything in their power to get Garry Lyon in place as coach of WS18, especially now that Buckley is tied up.
They need big personalities who are likely to succeed - who else fits that bill?
Barry Hall??

If i can remember my SOHCAHTOA, use 340m/s as the speed of sound, account for the variation in elevation, curvature of the earth, I figure that from where I was and where the ball appeared to be when I heard the siren, that the ump musyt have heard the siren before McMahon had completed the mark.
Therefore, we actually won and we were robbed of a victory, and thank god the umpire has a sense of drama.
Did take into account the variable speed at which the umpire processes the sound whilst watching the play and thinks..."oooh that sounds like the siren...."?

I rather liked hearing during the Sydney game that Jurrah had been in the National Draft after all, and nobody noticed. :D
I noticed that one too - he was 'overlooked' and then picked up by Melbourne.....
-
You forgot Nick Pesch, Ross Funcke, David Grant (yes he was great mature aged recruit from St Kilda) , Alistair Clarkson and Fabian Francis
People, people - what about Morecroft? c'mon he needs a start to get his career going.
-
Punctuation is your friend.
Now listen up??

Anyone who watched the game on TV, it was very funny to note the commentary team catch on to how good Grimes was. In the fourth quarter then suddenly couldn't say enough about him. I think the cat's out of the bag on this one.
ya gotta love the way they made excuses for Natanui yet in the previous weeks were all over Watts.....
-
Not suprised Matthew Lloyd is confused, it wouldn't take much - he is dumb as dogs poo!
He is the most boring AFL player going around. As soon as he opens his mouth bla bla bla bla!!!
Yup - reckon he'd be confused with a shopping list that had only 'milk' on it......

As bad as the umpiring was last night. The worst piece of umpiring i've seen in my life was tonight in the swans game.
Ball delivered into Swans forward line. Collingwood player no eyes for the ball knocks the Swannie off his feet and gets away with it. Nobody else within 30m. Utter disgrace. Complete incompetence. And Geisen stands up for these idiots?
I thought the same thing - the umpiring at this game was poor to say the least.
And Love or hate Barry Hall - he really does cop it from the umpires both for and against and compare that with Lloyd and Lucas pulling defenders arms accross them as they fall to the ground for an easy free kick. Watch both gaems (I know - different umpires) and you will see how differently teams seem to be treated.

Have always loved the father - son rule, not just because of Viney and mini-stretcha and Chris Johnno notwithstanding.
Though it seems a strange article in which to include this story??
Nice news though, hope it pans out for the kid.
