Im unsure yet if they will accept but this is his last chance to salute for the first/only time in 2017.

Be good if it was Subaru as I am looking to buy an Outback in the next few months.

Subaru would be a good get.

Like the three game membership perhaps we could use that particular model as a 2 game sponsor for our " Home Games" out there.

Got the Tri in the last in Japan so ended up being a good day - the good old Christmas Cup!  The first 3 were my 3 top fancies but I'll take 33% of that dividend any day of the week.

So what have we got now?  The Summer Cup at Randwick on Boxing Day?  ha ha

......and that's how it's done. Love your work Macca, nice dividend, I see the two placegetters added some value.

Lol, I might give the Summer Cup a miss and look forward to your thoughts for the Perth Cup.

Kitasan Black led from start to finish - won by a length or so.  Cheval Grand ran 3rd whilst an outsider (Queen's Ring) ran 2nd.  The other top fancy (Suave Richard) ran 4th.

The winner was impressive - just too good.  Popular win too - it's a real fan favourite.

I got called into work for a few hours but made it just in time to watch it at the TAB.

I didn't have a flutter but what a sight seing a champ lead and then kick at the final bend whilst others are under pressure trying to catch the leader.

100,000 packed that racecourse today and it was pretty loud.

I did it again today D77 (not watched the race live) and whilst I only got money back I might have won a bit if the 2 outsiders had have squeezed into 2nd,  3rd or 4th (instead of 5th & 6th)

I often just bet on the 1 or 2 races so it's easy to be otherwise occupied anyway ... so I'll be on 'delay' again tomorrow!  Out for a bit regardless with so much going on at Christmas.

Money back would be a win for me :). I’ll be watching with interest tomorrow, hoping to find some nice dividends.

I missed the race, but saw the results. Looks like the handicapper got that one right! Crazy small dividends.....would be hard to win i guess.....

Do you think Bowman can do it? What about the last gasp for Kitazan Black? Quinella perhaps?

I also sent you a pm.

Hi Wadda, sorry to pry but is a pm a public message on someone’s feed?

There was a blatant free to us not paid immediately before the Neitz indiscretion.

That was a memorably frustrating loss.

Yes it definitely was, I blamed Stephen Powell that night for missing that sitter of a snap 20 metres out directly in front late in the last. He put it on the full, could have sealed the game.

Ah, the life of a Melbourne supporter.

Thanks guys, I kind of thought that's what it was but thought it was just FIFA etc didn't realise it was stuff like COD too.

I must be getting old cos it sounds really stupid to me but then people are making a killing online unwrapping toys so I guess I shouldn't be surprised

There is a 6 year old "you tuber" reportedly making $15 million a year reviewing toys.

The little one keeps asking me to put "Ryan's toy review" on and when I finally had a look to see what it's all about I couldn't believe what I was reading.

This kid barely reviews a toy before his attention turns to unwrapping another one. Insanity!

My other boy thinks he's a red hot sniper in COD and keeps asking me to enter competitions.

I realise esports is increasingly popular but how much time will a kid need to spend sitting on their backside to get good at this?

The players did go back to the coach and two days later the coach said the camp was still on with some modifications from last year, such as a doctor being there who might be able to deal with Tysons dislocated knee cap. Some players weren't happy and spoke to the Aflpa. Their main issues were, one deconditioning, some players lost 5kgs over that 3 days, abuse and risk of injury.  The majority of players saw no advantage in the camp at all which   was proven late in the season.  Maybe the players were right to protect themselves against a FD that might be wrong. Maybe we should congratulate them for standing up??

If the above are actual facts it might give us a slight understanding on their concerns about the camp but with all due respect Tappy, this group is a long way away from being congratulated.

I reckon this camp last year contributed to our injury toll big time. You can not compare an NRL player to an AFL player they are a completely different beast.

Without being in the inner sanctum it's difficult to ascertain how much damage the camp caused last year.

Most of us were peeved with the gruelling mid season fixturing of four games in 18 days when players were dropping like flies. Maybe we should have gone to the AFLPA about the fixture.

I don't profess to know anything about the camp but from what I have read the club assured the players better safety implementations than last year.

I find both sides of the argument interesting but the lack of trust toward the FD is a little unsettling IMO.

Nice one Wadda ... I was out and about for a bit yesterday so didn't see many of the races.  I even missed my Ascot race but found out that I'd won when I logged on to my account.

I have a habit of winning when I don't watch a race 'live' so I may have to use that method as a default mode again!  Us punters are a superstitious lot aren't we?

Spot on Macca in regards to superstitions, I don't mind the occasional soccer multi and I find I have more luck when I decide to sleep and scroll through the scores the following morning compared to staying up and watching games live.

  12. He's fun this kid, such a quirky character.

Tagged himself in the photo above as the Egyptian Canola Man.

A track watcher did report on the training thread he overheard during the week at training the words back and serious, let's hope not.

Top run. There is no doubt hes a good horse. i thought they would quinella for sure with 100m to go, very unlucky not to run a place.

On a lighter note, ive got the first 3 legs of the quaddie with a 4 dollar bet for 33%...ha. only 1 pick in the last the fav. no 13 of course...

Good work Wadda on the quaddie with only a 4 dollar investment and a one out in the last leg.

A win is a win mate, I can't remember the last time I got close to winning a quaddie.

    :)

  14. You're absolutely right, we don't know exactly  how the camp played out last year. You make some great points above in regards to the sleep deprivation.

I didn't mean to play down Salems head injury, I assumed if a player is carrying a heavy object during a gruelling exercise safety instructions were provided.

I find this scenario a bit unsettling to be honest, I'm interested to know if there were players keen on the camp and if perception has changed within the playing group because of this.

Edit: Not sure what happened, I was quoting BAMF.

Im sure your "mate" is confident, and probably not without reason......however, it can be a demon (intentional pun) of a track and really seems to suit some horses although Ive never really known why. If hes had a good win there however, that is a good thing. All his other runs may have had various other factors against him. 11/1 is about right i guess, maybe slightly short. Its a good 4, so should suit. Im not totally sold on the jockey, but i really wouldnt know.

I don't know much about this hockey apart from the fact the horse will carry 52kg after the claim. Some of the connections seem happy that Rhys McLeod isn't taking the ride though.

Yeah, its exactly the same! I dont know what people are talking about. Bricks fall on peoples heads all the time at Goschs paddock.

The brick injury is an isolated incident.

Salem obviously didn't follow instruction on how to pack the bag properly with a brick hence his concussion.

Eveyone else had no issue with their bricks.

Ok thanks D77. Standing by for the late mail.

Hi Wadda, whilst we wait for the latest my mate thinks he's a decent chance. Although one of his best wins came at this track his overall record at Caulfield is pretty average to say the least so that's a concern.

Dan should return to his usual racing pattern today of being on pace after the good draw.

Good each way odds at the moment but when a horse hasn't won for a long time it's hard to back it with any confidence.
