  1. If a good deal was put on the table I'd happily trade Green. The problem is, I don't think too many teams would be all that keen for him.
  2. My team is the best now and in the future.
  3. Predicting a rule change... Fixed. EDIT: I forgot Maric too.
  4. I'll have a crack: F: Whelan M Warnock Martin HB: Garland Rivers Petterd C: Buckley Moloney Morton HF: Maric Miller Davey FF: Wonaeamirri Newton Green Foll: R Warnock Valenti McLean Int: PJ Sylvia Bate Rich EDITED.
  5. I like your thinking, but it won't work.
  6. I thought N/A was good. His skills were second-to-none.
  7. Bartram was good when he a was a first year, high draft pick player. Now he is a third year player (rotten luck with injuries) yet he is still playing at the same standard as before.
  8. Beat me to it. Can someone please explain to me the benefit of chipping the ball sideways and backwards? Yes you still have the ball, but the ball is usually in a shitty position.
  9. I'm fairly sure you're the smartest out of us.
  10. Same here. I only lasted halfway through the second quarter.
  11. Clint Bizzell Phil Read Sean Charles
  12. I've always said that Valenti is built like a tank...
  13. Dick Pratt pays cash.
  14. I agree, that and the fact he needs to lower his eyes before he kicks. But that's a problem that can be fixed with time and training. The talent is there, it's just a matter of getting the best out of him.
  15. I've always rated Buckley since I first saw him in a NAB game against the Hawks last year. He's very much an athlete and therefore his footy can still be a bit raw but the natural talent is certainly there. As has been mentioned, with experience will come a better understanding of the game and is one to persist with.
  16. He plays the "third tall" role because so often he is good enough to leave his own man and help out in another contest. That is, the title of being a "third tall" should be a compliment and not a drawback.
  17. I've noted this as well and it highlights two points. 1) Collingwood and Essendon are clearly the most popular teams. 2) Collingwood and Essendon fans are most likely to shop at K-Mart.
  18. Garland, Martin and co. have the potential to be good, but Rivers is something else. It's not often that a defender wins the Rising Star as convincingly as he did. Bizzell taught him well. EDIT: I would consider Rivers to be Melbourne's "best player" (comparing positions: apples, oranges etc.). If Garland and co. kick on then I would love to see Rivers or Martin have a run up forward.
  19. Rivers Daylight Even more daylight Ridiculous amounts of daylight Garland and Martin Daylight Warnock Daylight Frawley
  20. Well put melbman.
  21. It was worse when TJ was number 16, Bartram 19 and they both had almost the same hair "styles".
  22. But does he "bleed red and blue"?
  23. T.G.R. over at 'ology has been calling for Bell to be played in the midfield and I think it has some merit.
  24. Ignore him. High Tower responds to just about every post written. Including this one. Just watch. But now he won't because I said he will. Or will he?
