I understand Moniz has probably been asked to learn some defensive aspects of the game but surely he should be up forward most of the time?
Where else are the goals coming from at ground level on a regular basis?
He knows how to be a 'small' forward, Goodwin believes in versatility, players able to play more than one position.
As for the injuries, he is still growing and his body complains now and again.

Saty in a training thread....as rare as a Mr snuffleupagus appearance in Sesame Street!!Â
Don't be a stranger!Â
There was another reason, a sponsors function afterwards, entertained whilst hill running was taking place by that well known stand up comedian  Choco

Rivers in the midfield is not the only difference during a game we may see.
Our main midfield group, Petracca, Oliver, Viney need a chop out more during games.
The game will be even faster this year.
Noting we already have another big bodied midfielder in Grundy, who looked in great nick yesterday.

Hi guys -  I’ve just upgraded our Family Membership to Trident, after being on the waitlist. I notice that the package includes things like access to function rooms where players are interviewed before the game. Could any existing Trident member let me know what the process is for this - ie do you need to reserve a table? Thanks!
If you get there at gates opening, run up the stairs, you will still be lucky to get a table  how they do it   I don't know😀😃

The difference with young players at MFC is there is no need to rush.these days
Earn your spot and try and keep it, Bowey being the perfect example of trying to keep it
JVR will have all the incumbent medium and tall forwards looking over their shoulder, a good thing for the team
Nice Instagram post of a fit Tommy Mc running around his local track at Edenhope
On other young players my tip is keep an eye on both Taj W, who improved week to week and Blake Howes, was close before injury.
If everyone stays fit, we finally have cover all across the ground

The club clearly has big plans/hopes pinned on this kid.
His development over summer and, hopefully, his debut next year will be fascinating to observe. I hope he's as good as many on this forum have claimed.
Not claimed, observed, he has all the attributes, including a nice dose of aggression, pleasing thing is he hasn't been rushed

As a matter of interest, do we know how many players (and who) have had post-season surgery? Similarly, who is going to have an enforced delayed start as they recover?Â
As far as I can ascertain, there wasn't anything major, Tommy Mc had the bits of metal that were holding his foot together removed and kept them.
Everybody else are posting pics of holiday and off season work

No Motörhead as I was listing Black metal bands only and Motörhead are far from Black metal 😬
Ill check them out. Not heard them but always happy to try.
It was an addition to your supplementary list, alongside the pop metal of Def Leppard, you can add Blackshine and Rammstein as well   who are a bit of an inflammatory inclusion (in joke alert)

Ah @Gorgoroth  used Satyricon as one of my favourite metal bands  but also a play on words with Demonland
But no High on Fire or Motorhead tsk tsk
If you like a bit of organ based metal, not a euphemism, try Atomic Rooster
Was going to use Twaddle and Guff as an homage to some of the output on Public forums, but a bit too obvious

And Simon says for a few days Demonland will have different topics full of guff and twaddle, all saying the same thing but in a myriad of different ways.
We lost for any number of reasons, it happens because it is a game, where surprisingly there is an opposition t.rying to win as well.
We get another go next year and the year after and thev year.........

I only read this forum.
Mainly for the comedy, the game day thread is entertaining, but the Team Selection wins hands down.
We won a premiership last year, we have had a few ups and downs but we are still top four
So selection must be do something rightÂ
AMD is in NT, maybe his housemate JVR is with him, prefer that instead of rushing in a player who is developing nicely in the VFL without any pressure.
Bowey is understandable, the extended bench predictableÂ

Oh dear, don't post any more coz of the constant negativity about players and coaches, thought it might change after last year   but sadly no, still the same posters who one handedly bag players the Club has signed and kept on the list,
Rather than post on here thought they may be better served applying for the vacancies at North, they seem to know better
Everybody is entitled to an opinion but repeating the same faults ad nauseum no matter the player is just tedious

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Williamstown
in Melbourne Demons
Andy came from Darwin as a B class rookie, so has not had the junior grounding as the rest of the players.
His main sport was rugby with AFL on the side, hence the excellent tackling technique.
Unfortunately he has had a couple of injuries that have hampered his progress.
Just needs a clean run, would not be surprised to see him given a run in the midfield to round out his experience.
Versatility is the key in medium size players these days.
