Well it must be true then if 'someone' on SEN said so Wadda ?

I wouldn't be counting out Kementari although it's up against some gun runners on Saturday - particularly Vega Magic & Happy Clapper.  Gator is convinced that the 3 will run the trifecta and nothing else can win.

Well thats what i thought Macca! Honestly, do people actually think horses have a human psyche? I just thought that was such an odd thing to say...."He was backed to beat Winx, but got smashed.....he wont get over that." ?

I’ll give 100/1 for Hartnell if you like Wadda?. I wonder why they chose not to run him on Saturday.

Edit: The odds posted by Macca were prior to acceptances so maybe the betting was kept safe with Hartnell.

Ah yeah, Hartnell is not in the final field. Just saw that.

I want at least 500 then DZ!

To be honest im not really a Hartnell fan and he probably wont win. I just thought i noticed something different about his run. He is a class horse.

Im still on Vega Magic, even though the bookies are taking him on a bit they said today. We also know why hes called Vega now! :)

  5. Ok, so what if Hogan decides to go.....(after reading this thread) Your all assuming he goes to Freo and they are no good anyway so it doesnt matter. Perhaps Freo isnt a good fit. He could go anywhere maybe even goes to West Coast. Who would you play on him? Would you like us to go and play WC again over there next year for a spot in the finals and come up against Kennedy Darling and Hogan?

Do you really want to shore up a big rival clubs forward line? Hawthorn target players 2 years in advance and go to work on them. They throw the kitchen sink at them and are very good at doing it. Would you people who want to get rid of Jesse, just because we lost to StKilda, like him to go to Hawthorn?? Your not thinking about the big picture really are you?

May be Wadda because all the money is flowing towards Vega Magic,  Kementari & Happy Clapper ... I suppose that's what Group 1 racing often does 'odds-wise.'

Showtime is another with real claims and even Dollar for Dollar is a chance.  And then there's Grunt & Black Heart Bart who can't be counted out in terms of getting into the finish.

The Memsie & The Tramway Stakes up at Randwick are the standout races on Saturday.  Absolute top-notch fields in both races.

I can find trifecta combo's but there's any number of winning chances in all of the feature events.

Well i guess your right, but he was sure flying at the end of the the last start Hartnell. Somebody on SEN said Kentamari will not get over being pantsed by Winx and will be unlikely to win.....

I think Le Romain might be a standout winner for a trifecta? Binman will probably best bet him as well! Hi Binman!!

  7. Well you all know who im gonna pick.......

Caulfield: Race 8 No 3  Voodoo Lad $3.50

Back to his favorite track, barrier 3 and Weir has him flying atm. Clearly the one to beat in that field.

As it's turned out it's not quite over for Chautauqua at all .. another trial beckons and it seems that the connections are so determined to run the horse that my Hong Kong alternative may well be an option ... Chautauqua is back from retirement

Latest odds for the Memsie Stakes ... a quality field with at least a handful of genuine winning chances.  A good betting race

Can somebody explain to me why Hartnell is 13/1? Because i have no idea.....it returned the other week in red hot form and was only 3 lengths off them....? 1400 is a good distance for him ...no??

If you have no idea, don't comment

    There is an online onsale

You have ticket buyers all on different devices, all with different internet speeds, all with different firewalls, different versions of someimes not up to date browsers etc etc, this is not to excuse the debacle yesterday but to point out the reality

Oh i dont know, many people here comment on things so they can learn Saty. Perhaps they should check with you first huh? For instance i had no idea Satyricon was a Norwegian black metal band, but now i know. Great to learn things isnt it.

On the train on the way home from the game last night,  I was wondering if the AFL would be happy that their skewed/rigged fixture for 2018 fell over whereby they tried to keep the dees out of the 8 by having us play (and lose to) 3 of the 4 "top 4" teams in the last three rounds. Suck eggs Gil.

The only thing they didn't do was have these games with 6 day breaks as well. But sneakily, most of our opposition across the year had at least an extra days rest (incl. all 3 opponents in the last three rounds).

Yep....and that pattern will continue with Rich/Hawthorn getting the extra day going into the following final.

Need a couple of enforcers just in case. Not trying to sound boneheaded but I’d hate to see some of our younger guys taken out. Just need some guys like Lewis to get in their face if needed. Do NOT make it easy for them.

Its a good point. We have AVB this time and ANB has taken a step up in that dept. Viney comes in as well and im not sure what the final prognosis is with Kent. Lewis, Hibberd, Melksham and Jones all have finals experience. Im sure Goody will tell them a thing or 2. There have been times this year where we have been a bit soft, but it looks like its disappearing lately.

Stuff the afl, how dare they prioritise broadcasters so blatantly and leave us with a 5 day break to deal with

I actually thought you were meaning the following week, when if we get through the first week, we will play the loser of Hawks/Tigers who will then have the extra day break having played the night before us.

Typical AFL Thursday night final who want that!

God the Hawks and Tigers fans have not stopped whinging about it yet, even ringing in radio and yelling......the want a final exactly when they arernt working!!  haha.......good.

  14. Max and Clarrie hopefully will be top 5 in the Brownlow count. It now seems max was clearly injured there for a few weeks considering his game on Sunday. Those weeks may have cost him a few votes and it would be unusual for a ruckman to do it, but if its a fair count he still should be able to win.  Here is one the latest markets

    Tom Mitchell
    Patrick Dangerfield
    Dustin Martin
    Patrick Cripps
    Clayton Oliver
    Max Gawn
    Brodie Grundy
    Dayne Beams
    Dyson Heppell
