Forward connection.
Scoring conversion.
Reward for inside 50s
problems for many years and still no answers apparently
learnings ?!?!?! Hardly
Goody - fix it finally … we need you to solve it
if we solve this, we can be premiers
if we cannot solve this , likely we will lose the close ones and finish 8th to 12th.

Casey Demons have made two more signings, bringing in Lachie Bryce from the Box Hill Hawks and Oliver Green from the Sandringham Dragons.
The 191cm Bryce, from Mornington Peninsula power Frankston YCW, made his debut for the Hawks in 2023 but injuries kept him to eight local matches last year.
Small forward and midfielder Green, from Parkdale Vultures, forced his way into the Dragons team for last year’s Coates Talent League finals and was part of the grand final side that pasted Greater Western Victoria Rebels.

They may do it differently at Casey fields but at Gosch’s it seems a low priority. Sometimes none of the coaches are even watching let alone schooling. Or if one of them is watching, he’s watching all set shots at the same time. Also, it appears the players are choosing for themselves from where to take shots. It’s also not a lengthy part of the session, always at the end, and conducted while players have left, or are leaving for the rooms.
Scoring is such an important part of the game but is substantially under represented in training time and focus. Why? Who knows??

Glad you all had a good break (certainly well deserved). I'm excited for the first episode of the podcast this year!
Based on pre season track watching and the hit out against the Roos, do you think our capacity to execute the new, faster moving game plan has improved (compared to last season's difficulties)?
Ditto. Was the overhandballing still sometimes our downfall? Yes but looked less often. I thought we moved the ball much better. Kozzzy especially was very good. His run and overlap and delivery was a highlight. Please discuss.

I've read two comments indicating Harvey Langford may lack pace. I'm a wrap for Harvey but is this a genuine concern or about adjusting to a quicker pace?
He’s an inside mid with great IQ, excellent kick and quick hands. Strong at the contest and tackles. Sure he’s not got that Judd like burst but his acceleration will get worked on with the athletic development. He’s a ripper kid and I’m glad he’s in red & blue.
