More like players learning to use the ball better under pressure should be number 1.

Tigers have had an absolute dream run with injuries this year, not to mention Martin, Cotchin, Rance in career best form. If they had the run with Injuries that we did this year would they be where thy are now?

Gaff and Lever should be the 2 main targets this off-season. We may have to give up a bit for both but the idea of Gaff out in space on the wing dashing forward a delivering to our forwards would be excellent. Then Lever in defence cutting of marks and spoiling from behind( Last night Lever used the ball well coming out of defence would be a god send for us) with Hibberd, Jetta makes me a little more calmer. Stringer would be good but, might be asking too much and pushing our budget a bit
-
Agreed we would have to let Watts go if we wanted Stringer, Stringers best is better than Watts overall in big games, just needs to get his act together
-
Gaff is an absolute yes for me. The guy is clever with his foot skills and being able to create space. He is only going to help us
-
Yeah I'm hearing you, frustrated, angry, trying to get on with things and forget football, a bit hard when we live in a fish bowl. It honestly feels like the Insides have been ripped out, it's makes you feel sick

This isn't necessarily coaching, players have to take responsibility, a coach can only do so much. Leadership and skill execution are the main issues. How many coaches are we going to go through? We would become Richomond of the late 90s.

Kelly and Lever, yes please plus any other player that had good leadership credentials and good disposal is a MUST -
Gee after this dibacle I hope the club becomes aggressive at the trade table. We need more skill and leaders bad
-
I'm just not sure anymore how much we can buy into this talk about up and coming side, the better days are ahead, blah, blah, blah. Talk is cheap we have been hearing this for the last decade or more. If I was Jake Lever I would stay at the Crows we still stink bad. Not to mention the side needs more than just Lever.
-
Simple same ole Melbourne, get comfortable after some surprise wins! Not good enough I'm not buying into it.

The other side to this is, is our list overrated and not as good as some people think, we have a lot of butchers in the side. It's seems a long and painful process to fix this mob. Get real angry after a loss as the players are coming off our fans are clapping, they don't deserve that we should show more disappointment. We really aren't still very much a basket case, laughing stock and the brunt of everyone's jokes. SOMETHING MUST CHANGE.
-
Yeah when I heard upbeat in the rooms.... made the blood boil, precise reason this club is doomed.
-
Worst part about this Soft Underbelly, we had a finals spot on the line , Collingwood had nothing really to play for. Infuriates all of us
-
I'd really love to fall back in love with the MFC, I'm still here trying.... but by gee, that make this climb/rebuild look like real hard work and rocket science, this madness must stop cmon Dees!
-
Like I said stand to be a side that means business or finish up we are tired of this tripe even though we all try, otherwise why bother when all we get is teasing with a few good unexpected wins and getting close to finals but falling short! why can't we be like Geelong or Sydney?
-
I have Ranted many times about this club, I only do it because it want success like the rest of us but seriously the list/club must once and for all grow a set. Arent we all tired of being the brunt of all opposition supporters jokes even if we as supporters don't mouth off about our club since we have nothing to because the club gives us nothing! We/ others can go on about our supposed "young list" that maybe "tired"?..... So are 17 other clubs at this stage of the season! This year has been a failure! Forget... "let's just see what happens with Adelaide v Eagles, I'm treating it as another wasted year of, shoulda, coulda, woulda? Even if we do make it I doubt we will go far, we are here to win finals and win the big one. Even the bombers, are hungrier than we are! Stand for something MFC.

Tom Bugg? Suspension up?
-
Means jack really it's about a successful culture ala Geelong, Hawthorn, Sydney that wins flags and finals. If we are going to continue on like how we are what's the point really? i like others want the club to stand for something foreignly different.... successful not a regular laughing stock
-
Gee I really hope this rebuild doesn't fail, 3 rebuilds in 10 years is unheard of? This surely has to be our last one? Otherwise shut up shop stop wasting our time and money and let the AFL bring in a new franchise side. Its not Rocket Science Melbourne
-
There's some players there with serious question marks on skill- Hannan, stretch, harmes, Neal Bullen, McDonald
-
Just really tired of hearing:" young side in the comp, exciting times ahead, remain positive, impressive wins etc ect blah blah blah. Yawn. At the end of the day it means nothing if you can't do it consistently. The point is the MFC make it look like a marathon and harder than what it should be. Other sides get there a lot quicker...... not to mention our snails pace memberships. ill do my best to barrack and go to games but if the club shut up shop the safest part is I would be at peace with it and probs not too disappointed.

As a deep down passionate member/supporter this club is wearing myself out. im sure many of you have seen many more years of false dawns and poor culture at the MFC, which hasn't have been fun, but it's become harder and harder to go/watch football. Sometimes I just want to cry as to why we have stunk so bad over the Last decade and continue to honestly do so. Not too mention the last 53 years. I just can't see the MFC ever being a hard team to play against at all, I feel way overloaded with losing and failure. How hard is it to create a strong culture the only demands success??? It can't be rocket science??? May sound over the top, but if the MFC continue to do what it is currently doing and never properly thrive I wish they would just close there doors I'll hand my memberships back and walk away from the AFL. Just so I can get on with life and not have the weekends ruined by trash. Rant over.... I will peace out
