Paul Roos certainly needs to identify what the issues are there, if he can't gain all of the speed back he needs to look at Ryan Okeefe and become the hardest running player at the club, he has class and skill and all that, i think alot of our players just need to be given a role and something to work towards! Sprint coach would certainly not hurt a few of our boys.

I actually thought that watching the elimination final, Carlton got a run on and the only move he seemed to make was to put 1 player behind the ball, obviously you have to back the structures in place to some extent but the teams inability to stop the momentum cost them the game and their season.

Scotty Burns reminds me abit of Damien Hardwick, passed over for a few coaching roles even though he was very highly regarded, now he is doing wonders at the Tigers, Burns needs to be very seriously considered.

If that's the case the decision for Adam Simpson becomes, move to Brisbane and learn from Neil craig or, not have to move and learn under Paul Roos, i reckon i know which i'd pick haha

Lack of pace is probably to do with the hip stuff, watch his clips as a junior, has a serious yard of pace in those, fully confident Roosy and co will have him up and about round 1 2014

Hard to understand the problem the other teams have, 1. our record is more than enough to deserve a Priority pick 2. we were found not guilty after a seven month tanking investigation, so even if a deal was made they can't use that as the reason. 3. we are going to trade these picks back into circulation anyway 4. our club has undergone a total overhaul of personal, they won't stuff it up again if the tanking issue is not a sticking point, there is no reason we should be denied a PP the other teams will just have to accept it would be for the better of the company and move down one spot in the draft.

He has never really settled into the GWS midfield for any length of time, but every year he is talked about as trades, may well be that we don't see the best of this young man until he comes home to Melbourne, would pick 2 get us Adams and Tyson? would we need to add to that deal maybe?

They should just give us the dons first round pick, so what 9? We get a very tradable selection without being an issue for the other low teams

from what everyone is saying you could almost pencil Swallow for pick 2 in, Adams would be my next target, we would need him to say Melbourne and only Melbourne and then probably offer our second round pick and a player to get it over the line. Maybe pick 20 and Luke Tapscott? he still has a fair bit of upside imo, maybe not capable of running well enough to fit into Roos game style A PP would make this alot easier, but wait until we have that i suppose.

Totally agree, other clubs feelings will not come into this for a second, we could be competitive as soon as next year if we get a PP and trade it well. the fact it goes straight back into the mix i think also really helps our chances
