  1. Last one was sam blease vs st Kilda
  2. Depends what you consider to be a big name, signing dangerfield would be a foolish mistake in my opinion, we will continue to add younger players i reckon.
  3. Dont rule out a bigger name joining us, our imagine within the industry is far different to those outside, i can only speak for my sources but they rate our young list highly, and we are and i quote " a pain to play against" they know it's going to be a slog
  4. In terms of the big picture im not too concerned, our young core is looking very promising, we have off field stability and despite some dissapointing losses i think our best has improved significantly, we just need to play at that level far more often
  5. Wont get one, close thread
  6. Out of contract and adelaide will be sniffing around, he seems like a loyal kid but a strong lure of family there
  7. Reckon he'll leav at years end?
  8. Olisk, a top 4 pick most likely has value, so say pick 4,22 i think we will lose garland and get pick 23 im return plus howe is enough for 2-3 good players
  9. I think this will mean a lot to jimmy, he will now believe he's an AFL standard player
  10. Roos just absolutely let rip at the leaders apparently, one silly brain fade has undone all the good work before it
  11. Well done picket fence!
  12. There were some serious positives, the issue is the seriousness of the errors
  13. Jones, Lumumba, Dunn, Cross, Vince simply have to know better, they are there to guide the inexperience
  14. 6: Bernie 5: The Toump 4: Cross 3: Hogan 2: Viney 1: Watts Jones misses out because in my opinion he wasn't as switched on as he should have been at the end with the set up
  15. It should be a set play. they players would have known there wasn't long left, Jones and Dunn should have been screaming to get the set up right.
  16. They get updated when there is 2 minutes to go mate, they'd have had a very good idea it was a minute or less.
  17. The moment Howe kicked that goal it should have been Brayshaw, Jones, Viney at the bounce and gawn dropped it at his feet, lock it in there, and the rest of the side defending a quick kick out of there, maybe leave Garlett alone up forward
  18. This failure is on our on field leaders, Jones, Dunn, Cross, Lamumba, Vince have all been around long enough, they simply should have known better.
  19. On field leaders guys.. it's not all Roos.. Nathan Jones and Lynden dunn should have worked out what to do, every viewer of that game was thinking the same thing.
  20. Really felt we missed Vanders and Garland today. both would have been very handy
  21. Spot on. The game should have be won, the fact it was lost is not because of Paul Roos, he didn't have time to relay a message, this is a dismal failure of the onfield leaders to read and react to the situation, for starters, gawn should have dropped the ball at his feet so we could lock it up in the middle, second all of the forwards but one should have built a wall across the backline making it impossible to get the ball in cleanly, thirdly someone should have been defensive side of the ball then to stop joey doing exactly what he did. absolutely zero system in a critical moment of the game is embarrassing. Lynden Dunn, Nathan Jones, Bernie Vince, Daniel Cross, should all be very dissapointed this was allowed to happen. Positives though Jesse Hogan... wow Jack Viney seems to be building Jimmy Toumpas, best game for the club by a mile, 8 tackles.
  22. Some positives but our leaders need to read the game, why nathan jones and lynden dunn didnt get everyone to flood back
