Been a paid up member for over 40 years, only missed most of the interstate games. I invested time, money, emotion and my physical health. Until I start getting some of those things back from the club they can all go jump!

There was a tanking investigation going on, to keep him on side and quiet they needed to do what they did otherwise the sh!t would have really hit the fan! Just my opinion of course.

I am a foundation member and would contribute again only if the AFL oversee our finances. As much as i despise the AFL (for a variety of reasons), at the moment I don't trust anybody at the club now or in the past. Jimmy was great for what he did to unite and financially save us. Unfortunately his illness was cancer and it caused his death. Little did he know that his beloved Demons were also riddled with cancer. Fortunately because of him and with the help of the AFL the cancerous issues that engulf the MFC will be curable.

I hate the AFL with a passion, but I can't wait for them to take us over. I'm sick to death of all the spin thats been spewed out over the last 50 years by everyone including present and past boards and supporters (including myself) . I'm a 40+ year member and I now DEMAND progress, I don't care how its achieved!

How pathetic is it that we had 140 attempts to tackle and only layed 30. The simplist of skills and yet we can't even do that. I think the message has been too complicated. For Gods sake just let them go out and play and enjoy football the way they did in their junior days, throw out all ths bullsh!t game plan and let the players do what they do best. Surely the results can't be any worst than they are at the moment.

Mate you sound like you have an agenda, actually you sound like "Doctor do nothing" that was on the Gardner board. If you are please save us from the mud flinging. Jump on board and do and say something constructive rather than destructive. If you're not I apologise.

Give them a goal which is achievable but not easy, two or three would be nice but too easily achieved. Tackling is one of the easier skills, that's probably why Norm Smith chose it.

Keep It simple stupid That should be the message the coach gives the players this week. When the Demons were in a slump during Norm Smiths reign that was the message. He used to concentrate on one thing, that was tackling. This was conveyed to me by a former player that was a member at my golf club Geoff McGivern. Give each player a target of at least 5 tackles per game.
