  1. My daughter ran out with the players a number of weeks ago and they are asked who their favorite player is. They get to keep the jumper, shorts and socks and meet a number of the players before the game. My daughter chose Jack and that is why she ran out with him. the club were wonderful with her and made it a fantastic day for her first game.
  2. When am I going to be able to go to work on a Monday with a smile on my face about the Demons ON A REGULAR BASIS? I want to stick with this ONCE proud club but something is just not clicking. Again I had to tell my kids the Demons lost and I just feel like crying.
  3. It should be available on the afl.tv part of the site approx. 24 hours after the game. I have used it before and it is brilliant.
  4. Walter Walters out with concussion.
  5. What a crock of bull. wet condition and skidding ball. A five goal win in the we IS sinking in the boot.
  6. Is there a gale to the Dees end? No goals kicked at the other.
  7. Out of all of this there has to be someone who needs to have a massive 2015? I think it is Fitzy and you can read why here: http://www.thepeptalk.com.au/the-2015-afl-make-it-or-break-it-list-part-c/ I have also written about the other 17 clubs as well. Check it out!
  8. Our climb up the ladder started last Thursday by getting the draft right! Getting the two best mids will be a building block and another two quality later picks make the 2014 draft look even sweeter. Read more about how we have exorsised our demons here: http://www.thepeptalk.com.au/has-melbourne-exorcised-their-draft-demons/ Quality drafting and quality off-field staff will pay massive dividends for this fantastic club.
  9. Enough is enough! Time for the football public to find another easy target regarding draft day stuff-ups. We need to get it right this year so this "Groundhog Day" reporting stops. My full opionion can be read via this link: http://www.thepeptalk.com.au/stop-reminding-demon-supporters-of-thier-drafting-failures/
  10. My little tribute to the great man who wore number 2: http://www.thepeptalk.com.au/why-robert-flower-was-on-my-duffle-coat/
  11. I know but there is too much bullsh!t on those. Just get to the point!
  12. After the tripe served up today, who is gone (no "everyone" answers).
  13. After watching the game on Sunday I was shocked at how much the game has changed since I was young. The rules are no longer what drives this wonderful game and I wonder what the fundamentals of Aussie Rules are now taught to out kids. No wonder we are confused like Roos is. I have written a post regarding this issue and you can read it here: http://www.thepeptal...a-rolling-maul/
  14. What a great read. I do think he may be channeling someone from the 1990's as well. Find out who: http://www.thepeptalk.com.au/does-the-demons-resurgence-feel-familiar/
  15. GUILTY of rough conduct!
  16. Why is everyone saying Georgiou will get rubbed out. Budgies fart with more impact than his strike on Buddy. What a joke!
  17. I actually did cartwheels through the house when the siren went! Then I cemented the victory forever here! Go Dees!
  18. Frawley couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. Think about adding Garland, Dawes, Gawn, Viney and Hogan into that side and there is a lot to like. Can't win games without a forward line.
  19. My brother has written a lengthy piece on Dean Bailey which is heart felt like all of the sentiments felt on Demonland. Here is an exert and a link to the full post. The way they moved and the way that they played the game, you certainly think, 'Are we seeing the superpower of the future?'" Michael Voss, July 2010. Dean Bailey’s passing today at the age of 47 could be seen as a life unfulfilled but in those 47 years his impact not only to his family and friends but also the wider football community cannot be underestimated. Since the news came through this morning that he had been taken by a very aggressive form of lung cancer, many people who knew him better than I ever will have painted a glowing picture of a man who genuinely loved football but also praised him for his humor, his ability to mentor young players but mainly for putting into perspective that there is more to life that what happens when you cross that white line. 20. Thanks! Just made me feel good to watch.
