1 thing i just remembered noticing at the end of training Viney and Kent did a 10-15 hard running session on the ground.....a punishment for being suspended? (Kent VFL of course)

Not much training news, chip and spencer weren't out there again I'd expect Garland to come back in, trained strongly Everyone (players and supporters) from what I witnessed and heard ignored the Viney situation Saw Roosy talking to Fitzy telling him last week his performance was a lot better, unsure whether he'll come back in though Pretty impressed with Riley, expect him to get his chance sooner rather than later

yeah i'll be there, very keen to see the reaction/everyone getting around Jack and the feel going into a game we feel we have a big chance in for once

He wasn't training with the forwards specifically but was practicing a fair few shots on goal

Ah of course, good call, they were calling him Westy I might have been the only one to spot him go off about 20 min into training to have a pee on a tree

After training the group got together and something was announced that got a big cheer from the group and them everyone proceeded to pat Salem on the back and high five him....Salem then went over to say hi to a friend/member of family who was next to me and kept saying 'can't believe it, it's f*****'

Mood seems to be up, everyone is in the main group except for Hogan who walked laps before disappearing and Kent is jogging laps and looks to have a seperate schedule

No matter how much coach Neeld seems to explain things, people just continue to not understand why things happen I reckon Neeld has said 4 or 5 times that these blokes were appointed captains for the LONG TERM, and for him to appoint other captains for only 2-3 years would be a waste of time because he knew that at some point in the future Jack/Jack would become captains

and kept murphy to 6 touches in the second half?

Neeld has said Sylvia will play next week after being avaliable for today, but because the club is turning into the professionals that they are, Neeld made him sit out his club-based 1 match suspension after recovering from injury. What are everyone's thoughts on this? Fair enough? Or did we need him back asap

sorry to be off topic, but i didn't know which thread to say this was out last night at a bar on chapel st, and saw Jared Rivers, Lynden Dunn and Jeremy Howe absolutely smashed on the dancefloor at this particular bar, is it accepted now that the players are allowed to go out and drink the night after a game?

remember no sylvia after the pre-season events, big loss in my opinion, would be a class above the young lions mids

sorry, left out that i'd 100% respect giving Green another chance, his passion and effort can't be beaten, he'll end up like James McDonald, not the greatest player but gives his all and contributes

i'm sorry but if Trengove is named as captain, my opinions on Neeld and the entire Melbourne Football Club will change The KID is way too young to be considered as captain, sure he will be captain at some stage in his career but not when he's in his 3rd year, please. My votes go to Moloney or Jamar, with smaller ones going to Jones and Grimes, even though Moloney had the one slip up last year, he is an outstanding player and leader and will thrive even more under Neeld's control. Please don't make Trengove captain just yet, sure he will lead on the field, but off the field the older blokes experience will far outweigh what he has to offer.

I could definatly see Warnock coming in Giansiracusa has been their best forward in the last 3 weeks, frawley is the only one with the versatility to go with him so therefore warnock could come in to play on Hall or another big forward they chuck in the square
